I've recently gotten myself a new HD Monitor last month but I didn't play SimCity 4 until now, that's where I've found a problem. My HD Monitor is set to 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution, therefore, when I play SimCity 4, here's what I get. (Image resized under 800 X 600 rule) Here are some of the selected information about my computer Operating system: Windows Vista Ultimate (6.0, Build 6000) BIOS: Phoenix - AwarBIOS v6.00PG Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2 CPUs), ~3.0 GHz Memory: 1790MB RAM DirectX Version: DirectX 10 Device Name: NVIDIA GeForce 8300 Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip Type: GeForce 8300 Current Display Mode: 1920 X 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor Main Driver: nvd3dum.dll,nvwgf2um.dll Version: 7.15.0011.7813 (English) Date: 17/9/2008 11:55:00 PM WHQL Logo'd: n/a DDI Version: 9Ex Also, I lowered the computer's resolution to 1280 X 1024, yet it gave me the same problem. So, is there anything I could do to fix the resolution? Do I need to buy a new graphic card that is HD compatible? Or is the game simply not HD compatible? Thank you.
