I'm late to the game in learning that SimPeg.com is gone forever. Been busy building my city Madrigal and trying to figure out why the growth has become stagnant after reaching a population of 127,000. Ugh. As far as SimPeg... I find it strange that their reasoning for the site going away is due to website/file corruption on the server. Catty mentioned this in an earlier post. My regular job, other than playing Mayor, involves web design, web maintenance, web hosting, etc. To me, it's unfathomable that anyone would have a website that is not backed up. Even the small websites I've created are backed up on an offsite server. I think probably the real reason SimPeg shut down is because it has run its course and is no longer worth the time/money spent to maintain it. That's my opinion. Now back to Madrigal...

I've been playing SimCity for awhile now. Definitely not and expert but have created some interesting cities. My latest city is one with only low density residential housing One big section of the residential area has a regular occurance of high abandonment. I read somewhere that low density residential can never be abandoned. That's not true. Just recently discovered and downloaded the Chamber of Commerce & Industry plugin. Wonderful plugin that gives lots of info. The only problem is I'm not exactly sure how to decifer the info. Is there something out there (forum, Omnibus, etc) that deals specifically with the Chamber of Commerce & Industry plugin and how to analyze it? Here's my current Chamber of Commerce & Industry info... My guess from this is that I don't have enough low wealth residential residents to support the current Commercial & Industrial job market. Is this correct? If so I probably need to dumb down the population since the current EQ is 145. My city pop is currently 21k. I've got both NAM and RHW. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Moose... the version of NAM that I have goes back to 2010. I definitely need to upgrade. Thanks for the tip.
