First of all, thanks much for your help! I transfered the folder from My Documents that has all my plugins and cities to my memory stick. I installed Sim City on my backup computer, and then I dropped and dragged the folder into the Sim City folder in My Documents on the backup machine. Instead of these 3 cites, there is the original terrain but no development on them. Is this clear?

I have been playing this game for years now, and the trouble and effort it takes to register on their site is utterly, utterly, utterly rediculous. Did I mention it's rediculous? The support email listed isn't working, and they aparently have changed their site around. Now, I can't even find their contact info! Joy... Anyone have updated info? Thanks much!

Hi all, So, I copied my cities to my flash drive and then transfered them to my backup computer. Thing is three of my cities are missing on the transfer though. Should I just go back and do each manually, or is there a real problem. I know this isn't a whole lot of information, just wondering if there is a general, quick solution. Thanks much!

By LA I mean Los Angeles where the only thing in walking distance is your car. I'm using the NAM, is this what you are refering to as the Maxis traffic sim? Any idea about which version of the NAM I should use, if I still want some PT in play? Would love to post a picture. How exactly do I go about doing that, and what view would be most beneficial? lol, I tried the commuter shuttle ordinance, and it didn't do squat! Edited - Combined multiple posts. -CaptCity

Hi all, So, I have a hi-tech city. Exclusively middle and upper class sims. They have a great subway network with stations right by their buildings... but they want to drive everywhere. Total population at this point is 67,000 on a medium tile, so it's about time. Furthermore I get rediculous commute times and am getting 'no job' zots. I know playing with the traffic simulator (Z) is an option. What setting should I use to strike a nice balance between driving and public transit? No LA for me please. ;-) Thanks much!

Hey Guys, If anyone has any experience with or ideas on this bug, I would greatly appreciate them. I'm running SC4 Deluxe on Windows XP. I must have easily 100 plugins, so I would have a devil of a time fishing out which one is the cause of this. ONLY in my capital city--easily 10 hours of of methodical layout and planning to approximate Washington--the police funding automatically resets itself to 0. Every other city works fine. I've reset the level about a gajillion times. No luck. Any ideas?

Hi folks, I downloaded some wonderful things from the Dream Cities 2 cd, including some farm lots. The only problem is now the farm job multiplier mod doesn't always work. I can have anywhere between 9 and 650 jobs at the same type of farm! I tried uninstalling ANYTHING having to do with a farm and then reinstalling the farm multiplier mod but no luck. Does anyone know how I can get consistently good farm populations again? Thanks!

I've installed several new structures and modifiers from the Dream City 2 cd. The problem is now I'm getting the old low numbers of jobs on my farms. I tried uninstalling ANYTHING that has to do with a farm from my plugins folder and then reinstalling the job multiplier mod. The results have been inconsistent. I can have the same farm spring up with anywhere between 9 and 250 jobs! Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks! Tagtraum
