alright, so SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW, so updates will come much less frequently. I have already begun to download resorts and hotels of the STEX for St. Ives, (it has 2 votes) but I will keep the polls open until tomorrow afternoon when I get home, around 4:30PM Pacific Time (7:30PM Eastern)

Alright, so I finally finished up the rail system. Rather than run on a few lines, the Sunlandia Commuter and Cargo Rail System is a web of many tracks. In this case, one station may lead to two or three others, which makes trains come very often. The system is so vast, I could not show you all of it in a region shot, as you would miss a lot of fine details. Instead, I decided I would show you some hilights. This is a remote stretch of rail heading towards Twin Mountain, in an area called Bundy Peak. Its called the skybridge by locals. This is a photo of a section of underground rail in the Westside of Sunlandia (the capital city). I plan on the Westside being a very dense touristic district, so i wanted to use as little space as possible for rail. I just wish there was a way to make it blank... This is the cargo terminal, Westport National Cargo Terminal, in Westport. Soon I will build a large port in this area, where all the goods sent to the station will be shipped off to Europe and the Americas. This may not seem like much, but its the East Valley City Passenger Terminal, one of only three terminals for the SCCR. Last but not least, this is the Twin Mountain Terminal. Not much to be said about it, but I think I'm going to install the Snow Mod to make this area more realistic. Thanks for reading, but I have one small request. I am leaving it up to you, the Honorary Council of Planning, to decide what city I shall develop next. The choices are: Westport: The port where all cargo is shipped away. Valley City: A suburban "edge city" to Sunlandia, with a few skyscrapers. St. Ives: A tropical resort town located on New Stockholm Island (it was first settled by Swedes) with many attractive resorts and beaches, and even more attractive people. Chesham: A smaller city on Chesham Island, similar to Burlington, Vermont in its size and its significance in its part of the region. You can refer to the map in the first post to see where the cities are located.

nihonkaranws: thanks! you'll get to see more. manubeas: thanks, but i didn't make the map. the link is on the STEX. suplado: thanks! you'll get to see more. jacquelina: i love being creative with the history, thanks! fabsies55: the rail systems gonna be a bit complicated to make, with all of the isolated islands and all, but it should work out. schulmanator: thanks! you'll get to see more. rictiovarus: i think it'll look great, its a very promising region. edmonton_stinks: i hope so! The new update will come either later tonight, or tomorrow morning. I have already completed the highway system, and I'm downloading rail stations as we speak on the STEX. If anyone would like to make suggestions as to what I should download, it would be appreciated!

Hello! This is my first CJ, and after not playing SimCity for awhile, I decided this would be the way I would start up again. The Sunlandia Archipelago (or commonly known as just "Sunlandia") is a region located in the Atlantic Ocean (I'm not sure where exactly yet, the region has both tropical and temperate islands in the archipelago) closer to the American East Coast than Europe. It is a diverse region, with a significant Italian, English, Scandinavian, and African population. Sunlandia is a Socialist Republic, with many services provided by government funding. This is the region I will be using. It is called Erewhon Isles. I have already made plans about how I am going to design the city, and I have made a master plan of the highway system and cities. The cities in black are known as Regional Municipalities, while the cities in white are known as Local Villages. Besides these marked cities, there are plenty of small communities located around the regions, however they are unofficial, and not registered with the National Government. Thats it for the preview, stick around for the first update, where I design the highway and rail system!

so i'm planning on starting a city journal, and i wanted to show the region before i initially develop it. however, for some reason, Region Census does not work on my computer. so could someone (with RC) please take a picture of this region: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=5524 if you could, thank you SO much, and i would certainly give you credit. you can uplaod it to your imageshack or photobucket accounts.

i like this. the only problem i have is the placement of the old houses, they seem to not match eachother. well, some at least. try to put buildings that match in height next to eachother. i love the modern right next to the historic, its very helsinki!

omg, where did you get the arena, aquatics centre, and stadium?!?

everything southeast of malibu is great, but i'll just let you know taht you should revise this, the san fernando valley is probably about a quarter the size of what you made it. and if you make it accurate, you could include the santa susana muntains to the north, which are very beautiful and would make for a great nature-inspired city!
