I believe that we're on the verge of something big happening. Look at the influenza outbreak of 1918 that killed 100M+ Americans (around 1/3 of the population). That viral outbreak started small, just like the H1N1 virus is, and then about a year later the cases became more severe and more common as the disease came out of dormancy. In light of the current situation, I also see a large amount of propoganda going on. The FDA is recomending that people buy Tami-Flu, which will generate millions for the federal government, amongst other private organisations making money off of this.

I'm a social conservative, and a Christian. I do not believe in gay marriage, but I have nothing against gay unions made outside of the church. Although, the Bible clearly states, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." - Leviticus 20:13. I believe that this clearly addresses gay marriage, and/or homosexuality in general. I'd tolerate a nation where gay unions are legalised, but not one where gay marriage is legalised. As for the Miss USA pageant, I believe that Miss California did lose her crown because of her belief in traditional marriage between a man and a woman. I mean, she says that, one of the judges has a hissy fit, and she comes in second place. The evidence speaks for itself. Slavery seemed to be justified at the time, maybe that should be brought back as well!quote> You must have missed when bobgleason said "true moral values". Slavery and segregation are not moral/ethical in any way, and are practised only by immoral bigots.

IMO, if you're a big-time SimCity 4 player then you should stick with Windows XP. I haven't run into any problems with the cor egame or any installed plugins.

I believe that the core game WILL have functional airports/shipyards/theme parks (etc.) that you can place in your city, and the GEMs will add-on to these. For a hypothetical example: In the core game you will be able to build an airport, but will not be able to 'run' it, but by buying the Airport GEM, you will have an option of entering an "Airport Tycoon" sort-of game inside the Cities XL core game, where you will be the Manager of that airport, and can modify certain features of it, in order to make it more convenient for your Sims and/or more functional as a transit hub.

Just like LE0 stated, it's impossible in the current version. But, on a positive note, many highways don't have 6-lane roads going under overpasses.
