I'm am very keen on this so far from what I can see - unfortunately I cannot see a lot of the pics. I will check back later. A

First of all, let me apologise for not commenting on this journal sooner. It's typical work from you Mikeaut1, excellent downtown areas and a realistic transport system. I love the winding suburbs too! Keep up the great work! A

Always good to see a Frogface journal, and we love British-style cities! Your farmland has the familiar patchwork quilt look to it, very British indeed. Great work, can't wait for more! A

I like the start of your CJ, Amryai200, it's looking good. Don't get downhearted about not getting too many posts, I think most CJ's get that to start with, I almost gave up on mine. I can't see some of your early pics at the mo but will check back soon - keep it up! A

Wow, this CJ looks superb! Unfortunately I just haven't got time to look through 40 pages worth, I will look back when I return from holiday....... 'Til then...... A
-
Utora and GB - thanks for the comments, welcome back! Well, I was hoping to produce another update but have just run out of time, I'm away until early next week so will endeavour to commence work as soon as possible after that. Thanks A

Looking promising so far, can't wait for more updates.... A

Norwood looks good, well-planned. Here's hoping the workers in those skyscrapers keep their windows closed, or at least wear gas masks....! A

Stokyngton Reaches Over The Hex Hello everyone and can I welcome you to something unusual from me, a mini-update! The recent Stokyngton update was not quite fulfilled - due to time restrictions and the desire to just produce something, I had built Stokyngton Bridge but nothing on the other side, and you were all too polite to mention it! Well, this is the second part of my update. Here is Stokyngton Bridge, with two car ferry terminals serving the community..... The South-West Norwich Synagogue offers a quiet place of prayer for the sizable Jewish contingency in this part of Stokyngton..... Not far from the Synagogue is Edinburgh Square, with it's famously striking lavender colours, and it is the site of some of Norwich's most sought after property..... The local high school, with it's unusual blue paved surround, boasts some fine sporting and educational facilities..... Pleasant, quiet suburbia..... The northern bank of River Hex..... Stokyngton by helicopter, together with new population and budget..... No region views tonight, as it's really not worth it for such a small update. Let me know what you think, thanks for looking! A

Thanks for the kind comments, guys! A

Hello everyone! Yes, I am back and am feeling something of a resurgence in my enthusiasm for SC4. I'd like to take the time to thank everyone for the kind messages of encouragement left here while I was away - I would never intentionally ignore them, I think a lot of you know me well enough by now to know that that's not my style. Ginger Blokey says I'm a Norfolk Master?! Thanks GB, flattery will get you everywhere, although I'm just a good ol' farmer boy..... I love the F1 track, I think it's really cool and I downloaded it here: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?mode=files&filetype=Lot&Str=f1%20%20circuit It's aptly named F1 circuit, and was created by JR03. Thanks everyone, I have to go do another update and get reacquainted with the ST community and CJ's. Thanks again. A

Norwich Ready To Welcome World's Fastest Hello everyone and may I wish you all a warm welcome back to Norwich! Norwich has to the south-west, along the M4 motorway, into a new borough, called Stokyngton (pron. Stock-ying-ton). CONRIP (City Of Norwich Redevelopment Investment Project) has continued it's endeavours to make the city one of the world's sporting elite, and has worked to create a top class motor racing circuit - Stokyngton Raceway & Amusement Park. First of all, the M4 enters Stokyngton from Thistlehurst. North of the motorway here is a vast and developing industrial estate, which extends a good distance into Thistlehurst also, combining to make by far the largest area of industrial land use in the city. Thistlehurst Common is a large area of wild forested and open land to the south..... Junction 2a of the M4 allow access to Sir Stirling Moss Way, named after the legendary British Formula One champion. After public consultation CONRIP decided to arrange the motorway junction this way, with only one road to access the circuit directly from the motorway, to try to ensure local roads would not become gridlocked on racedays..... The roadsign, courtesy of mattc005..... Stokyngton Raceway. A relatively short circuit in Formula One terms, at just 1.9 miles, it is suitable for Formula One and Superbikes, as well as all other lesser levels of competition on four wheels and two..... The Amusement Park, contains many different forms of excitement for all the family, sure to make everyone sick at least once. Go-karting and minigolf included..... The car parks get very busy on racedays..... Junction 2b of the M4 provides access into Stokyngton and to Stokyngton Retail Park, a large out-of-town shopping centre, which hosts several of the UK's and the World's biggest names. Tesco, a huge Blockbuster Video outlet, McDonald's, Petco, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Costco and it's first distribution centre in Norwich are all based here..... Junction 2b..... Stokyngton Station is close to the Retail Park, alonside Stokyngton's commercial centre..... Stokyngton Town Hall and clock, with gardens and steps leading up to the Church Of St. Etheldreda..... St. Etheldreda is close to close to a green surrounded by nice-looking homes..... More homes and businesses..... Suburbia close to the bank of River Hex..... More family homes..... Stokesbury & budget..... Thanks, region views etc. to follow.... A

Thanks very much Simjurgen, very kind of you. You are of course welcome to invest in some property anywhere in Norwich. A

Thank you Mikeaut1. Page 18! A

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! Dannato - budgeting: spending as closely to your budget limit is a failsafe way of ensuring you get at least the same budget given to you next year. It happens in UK local councils all the time - ever wonder why you go through a whole year with no roadworks then, suddenly they crop up all over your town/city? Well, it's not because the roads actually need repairing, it's their way of spending surplus money at the end of the financial year so they get a nice big fat budget in the new financial year!!!!! TommyC352 - a Peterborough-based Simtropolite? There's a few on here now...... welcome! GingerBlokey - thanks buddy, On The Ball, City!! Nardo69 - thanks for the compliment and I'm sure mattc005 will say the same.... Many thanks again. Andrew
