Donald Sees A Shining Light - Trumps All The Way To Norwich! Hello everyone and a warm welcome to the latest update in the story of Norwich's growth. Tonight we return to Maidenwell, the second borough to be established after Central Norwich. The habitation of the land is creeping around the region in a clockwise direction - spreading south from the A13. In our first picture, it has become evident that major business people from all over the world are keen to set roots in the thriving city. One of whom is Donald Trump, who has recreated his magnificent building in Chicago, Illinois to help open new business opportunities and partnerships in Norwich. Also in this picture are the new studios of Momentum Pictures and Anglia Television..... Residential developments the opposite side of the Great Eastern Dock... More upmarket residences on the thin strip of land between River Hex (left) and Prince William Dock (right)..... Powerful businesses are settling in the astronomically-highly land valued Prince William Dock. Based here are Bradwell Football Club, Docklands Arena and Maidenwell Stock Exchange..... In order to facilitate full development of the Prince William Dock area and to spread settlement further south, Mayor George, together with his Department for Planning and Transportation, decided that a new road was needed, the A102. Due to the forseen problems of congestion, this was immediately upgraded to Motorway regulations, thus A102(M). Junction 1 here is with Prince William Dock Approach. Small businesses and apartments have developed alongside, what is essentially, the only major route to Prince William Docks. It is the busiest junction in Norwich...... The Fleming Suspension Bridge. Named after Craig Fleming, Norwich City's battle-hardy defender, the magnificent structure carries the A102(M) across to the south bank of the River Hex at a mere cost of (approx.)

Very nice seaside residential areas, and I agree with Ravenlord, Airports and Seaports should be accessible with highways, and, if possible, ONLY highways. You need them in a city but don't need the added pressure on your normal road network. A

Is there only one highway in Adelaide, it always struck me as a very large and bustling city. What's the population of the real-life city approximately? Will you be looking to mirror this number? A

Date:6/27/2004 4:00:27 PM Author:Pixter Nice city I really like the way how the river moves through the city. Anyway, I always build small towns around the big main city, some farm towns, and some small industrial towns. That way the region looks more realistic, at least in the Netherlands, where I live. But you did a great jobquote> Thanks for the kind comments Pixter. I intend to do as you said but on a large scale, I guess I'm looking to recreate a London-type city. The Netherlands is a beautiful place, especially Amsterdam. Like to see the Orange win Euro 2004....

Norwich edges northwards - Clarendon founded Hello everyone and welcome to the latest update on the growth of Norwich. After smashing the 1,000,000 population barrier Mayor George immediately sanctioned the plans for the Borough of Clarendon. Lying directly north of Central Norwich, it ensured that the city's hub was surrounded on all four adjacent sides by supplementary boroughs. The speedy growth was facilitated by the A1 and A10. First picture here is of new condominiums by the A1, ideal for convenient commuting to Central Norwich..... This picture is of businesses that have sprung to add to the regions financial punch. Also in shot are Clarendon Station, and Clarendon Station Hotel.... Clarendon City Hall and clock, beside Chapel Green Square. The Chapel Green area is a community of small businesses and a housing estate that are divided by the A10.... Just along the High Street is a Tesco Superstore, Blockbuster Video store and (on the A10 dual carriageway) Clarendon High Court..... Chapel Green Estate....suburbia (compared to the rest of Norwich thus far)..... This is a picture further into the estate. The stadium belongs to Clarendon Athletic Football Club. Built in the heart of the local community, it has become synonomous with the working classes and has a die-hard fan base. Also here is All Saints' Cathedral and Chapel Green Golf Couse.... Clarendon's current economic statistics are as follows: Population: 149,458 Funds:

Central Norwich Grows..... Hi guys a new update for you, Central Norwich has expanded more in tune with the three annexes of Maidenwell, Kelseyheath and Oakhill... some aerial screenshots....... The Central Business District has almost fully developed to become possibly the country's most important and vibrant hub of business. It's expansion has been aided since the building of City Of Norwich Airport a few years ago. Just to the north-east of the CBD is another strong area of businesses, the most prominent being the Swiss Re Headquarters on the bank of the River Hex. The oddly (almost rocket) shaped building is certainly one of the world's most instantly-recognisable buildings.... https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files/10Central%20Norwich.jpg> Next is Broadwater Island, along with the arrival of Norwich United Football Club at the very top of the screen. One of Norwich City's fiercest rivals, the two clubs have had a number of dogged battles in the past few seasons...... Finally, the Olympic Stadium area with the beautiful Olympian Park and more businesses close to Green Park and Norwich Station... Some close-ups of buildings coming soon..... Pls leave comments as you see fit. Thanks A

Oakhill - Mayor George Goes West With the population and strength of Norwich growing and growing, Mayor George decided he needed a place to set up parliament for his independent city. He decided that an area west of Central Norwich, along River Hex and the A4 would be ideal, and he named it Oakhill, due to a prominent hill by the river covered in oak trees (the imagination of the man...). This is an aerial view of the new borough after 2 and a half years, and already some 50,000 eager beavers have arrived to call Oakhill home....
