Date:7/11/2004 9:46:43 PM Author:uncrazycooper13 Wow Norwich is coming along quite nicely! If I were you I would add some more hills etc to the region. Also pretty soon you might want 2 bring down the density some. I love your huge parks. They're really nice! Can't wait for the next update! -uncrazycooperquote> Thanks very much, as I mentioned earlier in the CJ, density is coming down on average and will do so more from now on. A

As promised, region views. As you can see, Central Norwich is now almost completely enclosed. There are still 2 main open spaces, in north-west Central Norwich and south-west Maidenwell, where building contractors are waging a bitter battle to obtain redevelopment rights and earn themselves some BIG money....... Thank you very much and please remember to leave comments as you see fit. A

Bonfire Night Celebrations - Clarendon In The Spotlight Hello everyone and welcome to another update of Norwich. Tonight, we focus on Clarendon, directly north of Central Norwich. It is linked to Central Norwich via the A1, A10 and A11. Tonight we have some spectacular photos, featuring Clarendon amidst it's Bonfire Night celebrations. First of all, we give you all an aerial view with places of interest labelled. This is the central corridor of the borough..... The east end...... The west end..... Now here is the Whitestone area, between the A1 and A10. In this area are the headquarters of Norwich Weekend Television, Parkstone Rangers Football Club, Clarendon Library, Clarendon Stock Exchange and Virgin F.M. closeby. Date:7/10/2004 8:04:28 PM Author:mattc005 This really is an impressive region! But I have a request, and a suggestion: how about some newer downtown closeups? And, might I suggest a new international airport in Clarendon or something using Joerg's airport pack? Have some bunnies too: quote> Well, mattc005, first of all, thankyou for your comments. Re downtown shots, I must admit that I haven't updated Central Norwich much since my last pics way back.....whenever it was. Although, I will be updating fairly soon, if all goes as planned. Re Airport, all in good time! Again, watch this space. A

Date:7/10/2004 5:56:21 PM Author:sargeantcm I don't know which is more impressive - the incredibly realistic layout and feel of your city, or the fact that you have a city that large and you've hardly built any highways! Keep up the good work! -Chris quote> Thank you very much indeed. I have an outer ring road planned soon, so much of the highway network will start from there onwards, as in real British cities (yes, a sneak preview of my plans, I usually try not to give too much away!!!!). Thanks again Chris. A

Welcome To Stokesbury! Hello everyone and welcome to our latest instalment of the growth of the mighty city of Norwich. Stokesbury's main claim to fame thus far is it's choice to be Norwich City Football Club's training headquarters. But for now, we start with the usual tour of the borough...... First up, some tightly-packed suburb areas, with it's residents having a great sense of community.... Here are some industrial units just to the east of that community...... Now, here is an aerial shot of Norwich City Football Club's Training Centre and Youth Academy. The facility, a joint investment by the football club and the local government, boasts an indoor sports arena, hotel, elementary and high school, college, museum, physiotherapy centre and a number of sports facilities. The Club's Youth Development Officer commented, The facility has been established to help attract families with talented young footballers into the Norwich area. It will provide the best in football training, together with an excellent curricular education. It cost us around

News At Ten Sport Good evening and welcome to News At Ten Sport. In tonight's football, Clarendon Athletic moved top of the Simtropolis Football League Norwich District, with a comfortable 4-1 win over Norwich United. And Salham lifted themselves off the bottom, with a 2-0 win over Bradwell.... The league table as it stands tonight. As we can see, no team is really exerting any authority, although the two top sides, Clarendon and Norwich City, occupy the top two places. The season is still young though, and there is pleanty of time before it reaches it climax.
