  1. So lets say I want a specific style of residential, such as A-frame mountain style. I would have to move the lots/dats/etc into the plugins folder every time I open that city, and then remove them when working on a different one?
  2. Is it possible to have certain plugins for specific cities? For instance, if you have a rural city it would load only plugins specifically related to country-rural style themes. I was thinking maybe the game allows for having sub-plugin folders that each city would reference, but don't actually know if this is possible.
  3. Graphical artifacts with PEG's ponds

I did what you suggested and it works perfectly now. Thanks for the help!

This is all very useful. rsc - I think you're diagnosis is correct, as it really only fluctuates sometimes from the blue/black issue. I will check out the free waters (I found it here on the STEX) and see if that helps. One other thing - I had not realized that the actual directory of the plugins makes a difference... I have organized my plugins a certain way, and may have not kept the folder hierarchy as it was during a typical install. I haven't had any issues besides this pond texture one, so do you think it's okay to just leave my files as is? It would take a while to go back and completely redo my plugin folder. Is there a specific order that things should load? i.e. lots before textures or other files? Thanks.

Interesting. I didn't realize that the directory could actually affect the gameplay. I will look into it!

I thought about that too, but the thing is sometimes it looks fine. I will double check though.
  7. I have noticed that sometimes my pond lots (from Peg's deluxe pond kit) will have an issue with the grass/background texture appearing blue or black. I tried changing my graphic settings on my PC, but it still happens occasionally. Has anyone had this issue before? I attached an image for reference.

What exactly is getting cut off? are the FSH files getting clipped and then split up, or are they completely being cut off? Also, Have you tried refitting the LOD's in gmax before exporting? If you do that and still have issues try scaling down your model in gmax. select only geometry and use the scale function to make it smaller. This is the rough way of doing it; it will work but probably not the best way, only the easiest.
  9. SC4 Extra Cheats DLL

    Is the source code available?
  10. Prince William County, NH

looks like a nice town to retire to. I like the small town feel, very cozy.
  11. I have recently developed a nice city that was buying power from a neighboring city. It was making plenty of power and was working fine. I then went into the city with the actual power plants and put a landfill where the powerlines were, thus taking away the power connection to the other city. I figured that it wasn't too big a deal because I could just make another connection. I did this multiple times but for some reason it never gives me a neighbor deal. So now i'm sitting here with a great city that's WAS thriving, but unable to power it. I have tried pushing the play buttons, but I can't let them run for too long because everyone will leave. If anyone knows what I can do to get the neighbor deal (it seems like a glitch to me), please let me know.
