  1. I wish they'd just abandon it and update simcity4 But since that's not going to happen: Just put the small city maps close together, you start in the centre one and continuously claim "suburbs" giving the illusion of one big city with independently managed suburbs. Really not a big change. Allow some terraforming like raise/lower land since quite a few of the maps are totally unrealistic. Allow us to modify the transport connections at a regional level since the way it is now we have no subway and there's nothing we can seriously do with rail as it is. Cycling lanes? Services should be attached to the city but they could be the unique buildings which can be built outwith the boundaries (between suburbs) with no space restrictions and shared. These seem like such simple changes to me, so when do I start my job at Maxis?
  2. I've only been playing this new simcity for two days and it took approximately 30 minutes to fill the entire map, but I don't have space for everything I need. So, I was experimenting with using another map to keep my power plant, water pump, dump, recycling centre and such things. Power seemed to work ok, but the city taking the power didn't pay nearly enough for the power or water, and it seems I have no control over it, and It didn't pay at all for garbage collection so the 'city' quickly went bust. I just can't see how I can get this game to be enjoyable at this size of map. I didn't even have space for a high school let alone university. Also, I can't understand why there's so much traffic when the map is so small it would only take about 30 minutes to walk from one corner to the other if it were a real city.
