Getting carried away now, here's the whole of Scotland for you. Again, I have put large cities across the Highlands with medium cities for the Central Belt. This map was rendered with the Snow-Capped/Arctic Terrain Mod by Teirusu (https://www.simtropolis.com/modding/index.cfm?mode=details&show=320) so the snow-capped mountains may not appear in your region unless you have this mod installed. I'm away for a wee dram now.

Having done Central Scotland, here is one for all the 'teuchters' (kidding!). The cities are all large as there are not that many people living here, mostly sheep and deer, but again feel free to create your own config file if you want. I'll take an invite to the first ceilidh.

Thanks for all the comments. Pitman - not sure what you mean by downloading the map, but check out the following thread for info on how to create the region for your own game : https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=57421

Okay, here's my first upload to the STEX and I am sending you all a map of the 'best small country in the world'. I did this map to use all the UK Bat buildings and lots available on the STEX. Created using the Google Earth software (http://earth.google.com/) to get the basic coastline and PSP9 to do the greyscaling and hills. These are not accurate, but are representational. The 'big cities' across the middle can be used for Glasgow and Edinburgh/Lothians, Tayside/Dundee top right with the regions down the Clyde coast each having their own city. Feel free to design your own config.bmp if you want. Takes about 25-30 minutes to render on my machine (AMD2500, 1.5Gig RAM). Go easy if you don't like it, this is my first attempt at a map! 'Here's tae us, wha's like us? Damn few and they're aw deid!' Tweed
