I like Pacific Heights and Whitefall.

Heblem: Excellent work! I have been lurking from the very beginning and said nothing until now... Here is a summary of the reviews per update I would have given if I was not a lurker... Update 1: Great start! The road tiles are absolute masterpieces. Good use of SimGoober's props on the auto yard. Did you BAT all those houses? Please tell me where you got them... Map 1: Very good planning. In my cities, i just wing it. Update 2: I love the perfectly curved cul-de-sacs and the avenues with suicide lanes. Thee power lines look great as high-distance transmitters. Update 3: Great BATting on the Denny's... Update 4: Excellent textures in the lot and great BATting. Map 2: Again, great planning. Update 5+6: WOW! Great intersection and perfect bus stop. Will you be putting it on the STEX? Update 7: The transition to Rural Route was amazing! Somehow, you managed to turn a normal, straight, boring road into a graceful, curving rural drive. Update 8: Again, great rural work. The substation must have taken you FOREVER! Map 3: For the third time, great planning and forethought. In conclusion, I am very impressed with the level of patience and customization you've put into this.

My personal best city is Iron Point, with 1.2 million sims, and over 3 million commercial. I could not have done this without the CAM or the NAM. The first ~200 years, i concentrated on mass transit, but then I switched to Highways and Roads. My CBD has nothing but Avenues and is pure red on the traffic scanner. The neighboring cities are just suburbs commuting into Iron Point, except for Summit, which has nothing but High density Industrial. Strange, though, that no one commutes there, despite many connections...

I've never heard that before... Just let it sit for a while, it takes a LONG time.

The game has to be set at medium or hard for it to unlock. Also, they messed up and gave the I-HT demand reward to the Marina.

First off, I realize mrbisonm already has a similar forum on this topic here. This has more applications and is very different. Second, Moderators, please leave this forum here. Welcome to the SpectrumTech Lotting and Modding forum. I can't BAT my way out of a paper bag, but I have extensive lotting and some modding experience. It you post here and attach your BAT, I can create a lot, mod it to your liking, create a HTML readme, and/or create an installer. I have done many things over the previously mentioned subjects for many different people. See the "Official BAT Request Forum" for my help to TV-VCR in modding... I have often thought the same thing. Ultimately, I settled that it JUST doesn't work. I have DATpacked 30 MEGA packs of files on my own PC. My workaround for the update problem is that I am working on a program that can easily open DATpacked files and insert/update/delete. Someday soon, I will release it. Then it just might work.

You can use Lot Editor and LEprop to make it into a landmark. I am afraid that you cannot make a residential landmark, so you will have to just use one tileset. It should work.

Yes, everything except parks needs to have road access. Parks can do fine out on their own. The large park objects, like stadiums, etc, however, can't.

Sadly, I believe that SimMars is on hold for the moment. I am currently working on some automata for it and have contacted andisart over the matter and have recieved no response. As he is the leader, I can only conclude that it is on hold.

Could you possibly be clearer? The NAM has several puzzle pieces that allows 90 and 45 degree curves. I suggest you check that out on the STEX.

Not really. There is no proven way to make res ploppables work, they just don't! My advice, make it a growable, zone the perfect size, make demand perfect, and you will soon get it.

I suggest you look at other faithful recreations of other cities in the CJ section. They will have ideas for your city. Please use betterr grammar in posts, this is very hard to read. The whole project should be posted in the CJ section, from start to finish. If possible, post pics of the development so people can comment.

1) Uninstall. Clear the registry entry for SC4 (enter "regedit" in the 'Run" bar unter Start.) 2) Restart. 3) Remove all related files. 4) Check system requirements. 5) Reinstall. If this doesn't work, get a new copy of the game. Hope this helps... i feel your pain.

You can download the Simcity 4 Startup Manager in the Modds and Downloads section here or at SC4D. That can apply any plugin to any region.

A really good demand mod would be good... The Super Demand Mod and the Radical Ordinances Mod really do nothing. Please amke a demand mod with REALLY MEGA-RADICAL values. Thanks! Good ideas, by the way...
