Meastro444: The railways will probably come when it is a good-sized city In River Bend, the rich have caught up with the marina and have built houses all along the marina road: In Franklin, commerical stores have expanded, even employing a few outside the county: In the downtown district of Central Franklin, medium and high rises have popped up all over: Therefore, developers and citizens have put forth a proposal to all the people in Franklin County. It is aimed at spreading out development and attracting new residents. A detailed plan is in the picture below. Click for full resolution. There will be a poll for you to decide whether or not to enact this proposal. Polls will close on 12 June 2008 at 23:00 UTC. Feel free to ask questions, comment, or give a suggestion.

A very nice interchange. The second development looks better than the first one. I like that 3/4 diamond and the RHW. Looking for more soon.

Great interchange, City2TheMax I like the fact that there is no weaving, and it can fit in a big city. I have one today that I would like to show you. It is a full semi-directional T interchange with no weaving: And here are the paths for the ramps: It was constructed in an experimental area, and will see traffic in my regions soon. I don't really care if they do, because I don't want it anyway. However, it is a disgrace on a corporation to do such a disservice to their customers. I have found that the majority of places I go nowadays in the so-called "service industry", the places are notoriously delayed and inefficient. But, that's another discussion. There never was a true confirmed date, but nonetheless. Curse them for bringing up such a thing! If this happens and the governments permit it, the people must take things into their own hands. Limiting internet viewing is censorship, a destuction of free speech, free press, and freedom of expression. The Internet is the greatest communication tool yet devised by the mind of man. Limiting access by what a corporation wants you to see and not see is UNTHINKABLE. In a business's office, it is fine to limit your viewing of the internet there, since they pay for the access, they own the computer, and they own the building. With private access, it is a violation of free speech and press. The reason that the cable channels are limited is because the channels operate on radio waves, and you can't pick up any beyond a certain radius. Cable offers way more channels than an antenna would (although most of them are nonsense). Thus, it was accepted as an improvement. Not so with the internet. Satellite transmissions carry data at the speed of light across the world in less than 0.1 seconds. Any website can be accessed if you want it (key word, want it. Some people use filters of their own free will). ISP's blocking internet access to certain websites is no different than the government saying you can't publish your newspaper because they don't agree with it's views. That said, censorship at all levels is one of the signs of a totalitarian government or the process of turning into one. Totalitarianism has no freedom of expression and the government and/or corporations dictate what you do, and how you live out your life. Is that what the Earth wants? Dictatorial corporations saying what we can and cannot see? Laws must be passed to prevent this in all countries. - Patricius Maximus

There will be some more development. sedimenjerry: 1) That interchange is also known as a "dumbbell", but I use dogbone, since it looks like a bone 2) It is called Central Franklin becuase that is the central commuting spot of the region. 3) I don't know exactly, but it is about 5 years for the oldest city. Rictiovarus: Thanks. I have had experience doing them. As they say, "Practice makes perfect". NMUSpidey: The towns are popping up fast. Perhaps in the future there'll be conurbation? Also, the curves down to the marina are NAM curves on a smooth slope. edmonton_stinks: Franklin has the populaiton now that big subdivisions are going to be built soon deathtopumpkins: 1) Actually, that is job openings, not people in the jobs. 2) Where rich businesses go, the rich people are only weeks behind. Goldfish4029: Central Franklin is the central place for the county, so you could call it a small downtown. A planned road network is already in the works. Meanwhile, east of North Franklin, some developers that were voted down by the residents have established a subdivision outside of the regulatory area, shown here: (click for FULL resolution) And here is the subdivision: It is within the River Bend area, but has more ties to North Franklin. Will this eventually merge with the River Bend marina? Also, at the marina, two other people have established residences there. The population near the marina is now 12: In Franklin, a new and large subdivision has been built, more than doubling the city's population: Also, the underwater tunnel has been upgraded to provide 4 lanes - 2 for commuting in - 2 for commuting out: The south terminus has been rebuilt, and the district has expanded. numbchuckwoods: Pretty nice interchange. It's a full cloverleaf with collector/distributor roads. I haven't seen one here until now. Also, I have upgraded my windmill interchange to seperate right-turning traffic from left-turning traffic: Here is a diagram showing the seperation: For freeways, the at-grade intersections can be removed and replaced with an over- or underpass. About a week ago I built my first cloverleaf with collector/distributor roads. In this case, the express road is a Maxis freeway, and the local lanes are RHW. If traffic gets high and capacity or weaving becomes a problem the ramps can be upgraded to two lanes, or a semi-directional ramp can be added on the turn with the highest traffic, as showed on this interchange in Maryland: That's all for now. A few days ago, I played Star Wars: Empire at War after a 4 month hiatus

Well, good looking farmland. I haven't been really good with farms. I find that, with myself, it's so time-consuming and they serve almost no function. I'm glad you're getting more custom content. May I reccomend the Realistic Water Mod. But, there are plenty more out there if you want to be different. Just shop around and download what you want. That's the advice I can offer.
