Well, the Agonus probe is initiating it's final approach of the planet, and will be in orbit making observations within the next few updates. Polling has shown that respondents favor overwhelmingly placing a seperation between electric rail pylons, and that is what will be implemented. Back in Franklin County, a person with a net worth of $2 million has established a business venture in Hanging Cliff -- the building of a mansion and senic overlook to attract visitors -- and visitors equal admission fees. Here's a shot of the venture: It is perched south of the hairpin turn, and offers fantastic views of the Hanging Cliff area. Here's another shot from a different angle: A gravel road services the area, and runs parallel to I-30: The road enters East Valley, and continues to run straight and parallel: And here it intersects SR-285, just before the hairpin turn there, and near the East Valley dogbone interchange: Lastly, in High Plateau, a new batch of residents have arrived, doubling the area's population: No area in Franklin has been untouched by the roaring economy. With the advent of SCS and SCC, I'm sure that questions have been asked about them and their status with the rest of the 'true' Simcity games. I, along with some others, believe that SCS constitutes a spinoff branch of the franchise, and should be treated as such. Some believe that it should not be considered a Simcity game at all, and I agree with them. But facts are facts. SCS is called a 'Simcity', and so is Simcity Creator. Both are EA's handiwork. So, I am curious about your opinions. Please vote, and comment if you have anything else to add.

UPGRADES TO SR-65 REPLIES: deathtopumpkins: Thanks. You'll be seeing more of it quite soon, I hope. un1: Thank you. State Route 65, which goes from Augusta to to South Adamsburg, has recieved big upgrades lately. Here is the course of this update: Here is the western terminus of the upgrade, near the turbine: To the east, it widens to a monster collector system, designed to connect a parclo to both the collector and express lanes, providing complete access from any direction: At it's widest, it is 24 lanes wide. There is also no weaving at all on the stretch. Going furthur east, a cloverstack has been modified to accomodate the collector system, and a new parclo to the south. Here it is: Eastbound, there is a useful transfer between lanes, and an avenue tunnels below: Detouring southward, here is the parclo: Back on SR-65, the collectors branch off and form their own expressway in South Adamsburg: Here it merges with another avenue via a Semi-Directional T, to form an express route to downtown South Adamsburg: Note the high-rises. This area is intended to be more urban than areas to the east. Here's a zoomed-out shot of the entire area: An MIS partial Y interchange connects the residential area to the main transit system: With the commuters now giving the expressway high volume, it tunnels under another freeway: Then it transitions into my first sunken RHW, and I think it looks good. Ramps also branch off for an interchange: And here is the interchange. It is a roundabout variant, and there is no northbound access because it is unnecessary: Tunneling under highways and towering buildings, the expressway emerges and merges with a GLR-in-Avenue via a terminating roundabout: That's all for now.
