For complaining about a useful link idea that he stole from me.

Nooo, its an NWA Airbus A330-300, possibly a -200. It can't be a 737, i has 8 wheeled main gear, the 737 has 4.

9/10 Many good links and Simmania But it is a bit wide, maybe think about trying to space that out?

simcity 4 Deluxe Edition Crash to dektop (Tried everything NOTHING WORKS!!)
tjh876 replied to saulpila2000's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Well, are you running as an admin and in compatibility mode? Also, is this any city, or only one's with NAM. Did you install patches? -
Well, if you cannot find links on the uploads to dependencies, then you need to consider taking out the issued lots. Also, read the readme that should be included, as that should include some important info itself.

You need to pay close attention to the descriptions, as that a good one will include links to dependencies. Go to every lot you have issues, and re-read the descriptions for links.

Sim City crashes to Desktop
tjh876 replied to The_City_Builder's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
If you do figure out that it is related to a specific pluggin or running mode, please say so, as that can help us in future issues that others have. -
Globex, you are right. Installing .NET Frameworks should do the trick, although also having the computer specs also helps.

Sim City crashes to Desktop
tjh876 replied to The_City_Builder's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Well, here are some things to consider. When you install a plugin, mod, or add-on, you take the risk of effecting the game's stability. Doing this is at your own risk, and can make your game unstable if you do not know what you are doing. Also, not having the latest patches and if you are running Vista or 7 (like me) you should also consider running in Compatibility mode (recommended XP SP2) and as an admin. This can greatly improve the stability of SC4 on your computer. -
It's here, the Tommy7777 Region Request thread. This thread is for anyone who would like a region that is to their liking. Please include the following information when requesting a region. 1) How many cities, and how many cities of each size (how many large, medium, and small cities) 2)Terrain features (what would you like to see) Spam will be reported, and requested regions announced here are not guaranteed to be made. Regions completion date/time can only be estimated, not promised. All requsts and announced regions are subject to change at any time. Any questions, feel free to PM me RULES: 1) No spam (Thanks, ok, etc) 2) No outragous maps (map size varies, not very large due to certian system requirements) 3) If a map already exists, a link will be provided, and a map WILL NOT be made. Please, if there is an upload that suits your needs, then do not keep asking. Map Sizes If a map request includes a region size that is too large for me or anyone to make, or system stabability with the region can be compromised by size, then I will ask for a smaller size, or the project will be cancelled. If you do not respond within 5 days to any questions, the request will be terminated, unless otherwise noted that you will be unable to respond within a certian time. Thanks. Any request can be ended at any time. No requests are guarenteed, and if a region is under development, there is no promise that is will ever be completed. Anything stated here is subject to change at any time.

Yeah, Josh is right. And maybe my computer or yours can handle it, but not everyone elses, and because of that, I cannot make large regions without the risk of these having issues. Thanks for understanding.

Sim City crashes to Desktop
tjh876 replied to The_City_Builder's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
Also, what OS are you running, as that could have an impact as well. If you have 7 or Vista (I call it Failista) are you running in compatibility mode or as an admin? -
Freeze, Crash To Desktop (CTD), Dual Core?
tjh876 replied to Slashback's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
SC4 was designed when only 1 core processors exist. So it will only use 1 core. In Windows 7, you can try to make it use multiple, but also you can make it use a quieter core as well. -
If you can give us some information regarding your system, like video card and processor, amount of ram, etc. That helps a lot. Also, did you just purchase the game, or did this just come up. Did you try reinstalling the game?
