You generally don't need a jail until your city is at 20,000 inhabitants. If you get prompted to build one, you really should as your police will become more efficient since they won't have full holding cells.

I have gotten a new computer and want to find a way to tranfer my cities/regions to my new machine. What is the simplest way to do this? What is the best way to do this? (Assuming they could be different). I'm open to any and all options. Thanks for your help. Bayma

Northsider (Go Cubs!) what site did you upload your cities to? The Spanish site mentioned above or somewhere else? I'm trying to find a way to move my cities to a new computer and thought that this would be the best way to do it. Thanks.
