So I have simcity 4 with the seperate expansion pack, Rush Hour, not the Sim City 4 Deluxe. I installed it on my new PC Laptop, Window's Vista 32bit. It worked fine for awile then all of a sudden I coun't play Ruch Hour anymore. When I try to play it the opening screen pops up, the one with the picture of the bridge, then goes back to desktop and won't load the game. I eventually tried uninstalling everything and tried reinstalling the game. But when I tried reinstalling errors came up when installing disk 1, having to do with not being able to copy some kind of fonts. I just press ignore and it continues loading, i get finished with disk 1 and 2 when an error pops up saying that I need rush hour insterted and restart the game. This never happend when i first loaded it. I put in the rush hour disk and nothing happens only it tells me that I need sim city 4 to be installed first, which i thought it was and the shortcut for sim city 4 is shown on the desktop. I'm thinking that when i unistalled the game, not everything was uninstalled and therefore when i try to reinstall it, it says it can't cause it thinks a portion of it already exists in the computer. I did find under program files: a Maxis folder with simcity4 in it and the fonts files that were shown in the error messege. I tried deleting the file but it won't let me, it says I don't have permission which is weird cause i set everything on my computer to allow me, the administrator, full control and I should be able to delete it. I need to find a way to delete this file so I can reinstall Sim City 4: Rush Hour. Anybody have any ideas?
