I always cross the A-40-bridge when going to relatives living at the other side of the rhine (I live north of the ruhr and east of the rhine) and I enjoy it everytime. and don't forget the car-ferry at the rhine in the "Rheinaue" in northern duisburg. fantastic work indeed. P.S. the terraformer exports ingame-selfmade maps just type in "terraformer" into the search panel of "modds and downloads". once you have the terraformer load the region, now a window will pop up asking you which cities you want to protect and so on, simply click ok because you don't change anything in your region. then go to the universal tools and hit "export map". then you only have to convert the png into a 256-colour greyscale jpeg and fine-calibrate it for rendering

paris is such a beautiful city. reminds me at the 2 times I've been to paris myself. but it was quite difficult for me because I couldn't and still can't speak french because I chose latin instead of french at school. so I was very dependent to my friends.

GLR on street is amazing but GLR on road would be better for a higher capacity of cars. if you'd place this glr on street in a commercial district there would be a traffic chaos even though some people take the GLR.

I think it's from the NAM; GLR on pedestrian malls I dunno anymore if these tiles were on the pedmall-thingy or on the glr-thingy.. just search for 'em. EDIT: oh sorry, on the screen there are cars driving on these tiles.. this definitely not from the nam.

Originally posted by: robby2161 I have been thinking, and I think that it would be cool to do a BAT of the apple store in midtown, on the corner of 5th and 58th. It would be pretty simple I suppose, since it is a cube. quote> the apple-store would be a fantastic idea but the inside of the cube would be hard to manage here is a picture of it I shot myself at daytime. to see how it looks at daytime:

well it's funny that everyone dislikes his hometown. I think that's because everyone always wants to have the things one doesn't have ;D -

American Vs European Architecture
xgriffinx replied to FavreKev04's topic in Architecture & Urban Planning
I'm living in europe and I must say that I like european architecture very much but american architecture isn't bad, too. I've been to new york a few months ago and the skyscrapers really impressed me. but I think skyscrapers shouldn't be too tall imo especially in european cities. -
here is my region after a huge update:
