This train station is a large station, occupying a 4x3 footprint. What makes it fairly unique is that it has two pairs of tracks running parallel to each other, with one tile in between the two pairs. Most other multi-track train stations have the track-pairs right next to each other. In addition, the maximum capacity has been greatly increased from the default Maxis train station, to allow this station to better serve as a hub station. The small size of these stations allows them to be placed in areas where most train stations don't fit, and they have the potential to increase ridership across your entire train network. Train stations can also increase pedestrian traffic, and decrease road congestion along with its associated air pollution. Please read the readme file for more information. Statistics: Capacity: 25,000 Lot Size: 3x4 (Two transit-enabled tracks) Plop Cost:: §400 Maintenance Cost: §50 Dependencies: Jasoncw's Train Station Set (June 1, 2006) I would like to thank Jasoncw very much for allowing me to use his wonderful train station building in this lot. If you haven't already, check out his other creations for more wonderful buildings. BAT by: Jasoncw Modding by: Meriadoc
  2. Victorian Train Station with Split Tracks

Yes, that is exactly what I did. I did it so that the game will treat the two buildings as one train station, thus preventing the problem of one building being massively overcrowded, while the one immediately next to it is barely used.
  3. Sunken Passenger or GLR Station

Excellent indeed. I don't usually sink my rail lines, but if I ever do this building come in handy. Keep up the good work.

P.S. To those who defended me in the previous posts: thank you.
  5. Victorian Train Station with Split Tracks

In response to T Wrecks, I believe there is some advantage to this station in terms of game mechanics. In my experience, if two train stations, sharing the same tracks, are located next to each other, the congestion load isn't always evenly balanced between the two. By creating this station, I could separate my train tracks, but still use only one station, thus avoiding the congestion load balancing problems. It's worked for me.
