I know it's been a while but I've been busy with school (and snow the past few days) but I hope this will satisfy your appetites for a few days...or longer

A new start...sort of.

It's that time of year and I'd just like to thank everyone who has supported this CJ over the past six months. Tomorrow, on Christmas Day, it will be exactly half a year since I started this CJ. I hope you have enjoyed it as I certainly have and I look forward to what the new year will bring. Speaking of which, here is a little teaser of post-Christmas updates. I have started completely rebuilding Leah, my capital city, as I have improved my skill since I first made it. There will also be some other changes, such as the relocation and resizing of Paranor to make it more realistic. I guess all that's left to say is Nollaig Shona Daoibh, Happy Christmas to you all

The Simlympic Torch Relay is a huge event taking place in over 30 CJs/MDs all around the SC4 world. The Torch Relay will be at a different city each day for 31 days, climaxing with the beginning of the December Simlympics on December 16th. For more information on the Simlympics, or to sign up to compete, please click here. For this leg of the journey, the torch comes to Anora, the northernmost city of Paranor Island. This is the route the torch will take traveling through Anora It landed at Anora International Airport, in the east of the city. When traveling over the Tholan River Bridge, the torch was greeted by the relay logo hanging from the bridge tower. It pass through Anora City Centre, being greeted by thousands of spectators. The relay ends it's journey through Anora with a large celebration in Bannock Park Stadium. AT the celebration, there was a special performance by The Coronas, who will be representing Paranor in the Uniovision Song Contest.

Veventum is a north-eastern city in the Republic of Paranor Island. With a population of 923,045 (city), it is the fifth largest city in the country and the smallest one with it's own city council.

Something a little different today, the natural side of Paranor. Innis Lug is an island at mouth of the River Tholan, just south of Anora City Centre. The island is National Heritage Site, as it contains one of the oldest examples of civilisation on Paranor. The Temple of Lug is a shrine to the Celtic deity Lug (or Lugh) and it's architectural style is still somewhat of a mystery to archaeologists, as it differs greatly from most other structures of this era.

Paranor Island wants you to help with one of the country's biggest planning decisions. Plot 3 of the Illian International Business Centre is zoned for a landmark mixed-use development and these are the final candidates. Tell us which one you think would be best suited for Illian. Note: The area shown surrounding each building is for illustrative purposes, actual lot layout may differ

Remember this place, there'll be a little of this city over the weekend

Bannock Park is directly south of Anora City Centre and and is the most popular park in the city. There are many sports facilities, including the 35,000 capacity Bannock Park Stadium, home of Anora Football Club. At the south end of the park you can find Bannock Park Shopping Centre, as well as the enterence to the Docklands Tunnel, which leads directly into the Anora Docklands area. Some of the city's better off suburbs are also found in this area, which has one of the highest average house prices in the country.

Across the nation this week, anti-monarch protests have increased to a number never before seen. An estimated 2 million people came to the streets of Paranor's cities and towns over the course of the past 6 days, including the thousands seen here at the newly opened Government Building in the rebuilt Leah political district. Recent events such as the US Presidential Election are said to be major factors in the rise in the number of people supporting Republican groups. As vicious riots broke out between protesters and the police and army, many foreign media reported that Kind Donaill may be planning a large scale fight back. However, in a surprise press conference held by the King, domestic as well as foreign media outlets were in for a big surprise. From the Old Parliament Building in Illian, King Donaill announced the end of almost a thousand yeards of the Kingdom and an immediate move towards democracy.

Probably the last mosaic for a while, I'm sure you're all getting sick of them

It started out like any other day. It was a Monday and it rained as the people of Leah made their way to work. There were promises of sunshine later that day and many were hopeful for this reason. We can only pray that hope was the last emotion they had. It happened at 08:59, a minute to nine. A time that in the future will be remembered and feared by all the people of Paranor Island. It came from outside Parliament Building, obliterating the home of the former government which now housed the offices of the King's totalitarian regime. King Donaill's first in command, General Tigh was killed along with 1,352 other people in that building alone. Around Parliament, other buildings were completely destroyed, with hardly anything left standing for a mile around the detonation site. How the Free people's of Paranor got a bomb of that size, nobody ever knew for sure. The King himself was not killed, as he was meeting with world leaders in Paris, but nonetheless when he heard the news he fell on the ground as if he had been hit. While the initial blast radius was comparitvely small, the damage done was much wider. A city with over a thousand years of history was destroyed was in shock. Hundreads were dead. Thousands were injured. All were changed forever. King Donaill returned to Paranor within the next several hours, landing at Adria International which had been closed within minutes of the explosion. He made his way to Illian in a large, high security motercade, to set up temporary residence at Illian Palace. The Palace Gardens were completely surrounded by the best of the King's army and a national curfew was put in place. Trading at stock exchanges was suspended until further notice and a spokesperson for the King declared a price freeze on everything on the Island. Fears quickly came that this tragic event which killed so many, might destroy the country's economy.
