Have you tried reinstlling SC4

If you have a half decent computer you need to turn up the graphic detail, then restart the game. Your lots aren't very detailed at the moment because the graphics are on a lower settingsetting. Once changed your city will look a LOT better. Otherwise your off to a nice start :-)

bighaben: Nice airport but the gates are a little too close to the taxiways. Otherwise, it's a good set up :-) I've gone mad creating (and destroying) airports lately, so here are a couple of mine. Some are incomplete so please be nice These are from the Democratic States of Pixodarus, my current and best region. P.s: Some of the logo's are from real airports, I just edited them. Craigsters: Do they come as lots or are they only props?

GingerBlokey: You need to leave more room between the gate lot and the taxiway. For the 747 I usually leave about for or five squares between the lot and the taxiway. This is my my biggest airport, O' Brien International:

Firstly, I'm a pretty experienced SC4 user and I usually know what I'm doing. I just changed computers, bought and installed a new SC4 Deluxe Edition (old one's broken). I made sure to get the update from SC4.com, I copied my old region to the new computer (picture of a city shown), and I copied ALL plugins from both the My Documents Plugins folder and the Programme Files Plugins folder. Is there something I'm missing?

3.3GB, 9249 Files, 1914 Folders. On my old computer it took about 20 minutes to load 2GB of plugins, on my current one my 3.3GB takes 5 to 10 minutes

For my home city of Dublin, Ireland I would like to: - Build an underground motorway going from the M1 in the North to the M11 in the South (by adding on ramps to the Port Tunnel that goes from the city centre to the M1) - Build some towers!!! Dubai has a population similar to Dublin and is building the the biggest building in the world. Dublin's tallest building is 60m, the biggest under construction is 120m. - Rebuild some of the poorer, ugly, inner city suburbs. They are an eye sore in a truly beautiful city. - Build a second, outer ring road for the city, this one eight lanes wide. - Get rid of the stupid toll plaza at the M50 Liffey Bridge, traffic backs up for miles. - Build a subway from each of the larger suburbs directly into the city centre. - Build a big National Athletics Stadium (our current biggest is 15 or 20 thousand) - Change the Landsdowne Road Stadium upgrade from 50,000 to 80,000 (the Irish football team filled the 80,000 seater Croke Park) - Build up the ''historical'' Hill 16 stand at Croke Park to make the stadium complete (would bring capacity to upwards of 90,000) - Clean the River Liffey, it's filthy looking. - Do up the Royal Canal and Grand Canal areas through the city to make a plaza-like pathway along them, and maybe Luas (Light Rail) lines as well.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I've been watching this thread for a long time thinking that Paul Brown Stadium will be the greatest stadium SC4 has ever seen. This really says something seen as I'm Irish and have never even seen an American Football Match. I'm very sad Minute Maid Park looks very nice though

dresik: To fix the budget problem, try moving the funds slider for landmarks down, let it go, and the move it back up again. This helped with a budget problem had before :-) Very nice update by the way

I heard somewhere before that Dublin, Ireland (where I live) has the worst urban sprawl problem in Europe. It has one major road going around it, the M50, which is used by over a hundread thousand people a day. Dublin is a really fast growing city. In 2006 (last census), the urban had a population of 1.6 million and it is expected to reach 2.1 million by 2021 (next census). Dublin Also has a number of large dormitory towns, that sooner or later are just going to become part of the city. The picture below is from Google Earth and is several years old, Dublin has probably grown a little since it was taken

To change the GLR carriage I think you need to make sure your carriage mod loads after the NAM (by putting a couple of Z's in front of the folder name :-)

Region 13,000,000 Small 310,000 Medium 650,000 Large 2,000,000 These are all old, bad cities though and I don't use them anymore. Still proud though :-)

Do you plan on releasing those airport pieces because they'd be greatly appreciated by a lot of people.

I like this CJ. Its not the most acurate CJ, but it has the feel and shape of Dublin. It's very good :-)

Got to into the SimCity folder in My Documents and open the regions folder. Rename the folder of the region you want to rename, then open it. There will be a text folder called 'region', open this. Where it says name just delete the old and replace with the new :-)
