I work at a gaming store and to be honest we sell about 10 SC4 every month...If I sell them then I can sell more then 15, since people think SC4 is what you get in the box, but when you tell them about Simtropolis and Sc4d, then they get hyped.

If you use this mod, will all maxis buildings stop growing, such as all residential, commercial, farms,industry? DO I have to then download houses for $,$$,$$$ as well as commercial buildings and industry?

SO it will let me choose what to block? Also what do you mean by It will get rid of only new maxis buildings? Whats new and whats old? Sorry Im kind of a *****.

I never used the program which is needed to create BAt files and other files for SC4. I was wondering if there is a tutorial out there that explains how to create flags on these programs. I would really love to create flags of different sizes for my regions but like I said I dont know how to, so I was wondering if there is a tutorial that shows you step by step how to make flags for SC4.

Anyone know where I can find this pack for the GLR? Its not showing up on STEX.... Please help, thank you!

Yea I was looking for the tracks... But if they are part of the NAM then thats okay, I would of probably known but the thing is I am on vacation, and away from my computer...I am just saving things and when I come back I am going to put everything in the plugins folder and start playing... only 4 more days left.... thanks for the replies guys!

I saw in most CJ's that everyone has really awesome Baseball and Football (American F) stadiums but I cant find any really good baseball or Football stadiums, only soccer ones. Where do you-all get your stadiums?

I was just wondering, when you download a bunch of different BATS that are growable, how do you make it so that each type of building is together with its matching buildings, instead of mixing with a bunch of other different styles of buildings. For example I downloaded a bunch of german residential buildings, as well as some amsterdam ones and a few W2W. Once I decide where to build these I draw my green lines and now what? How do I make it so that all the german residential buildings grow next to each other, and then the amsterdam ones on another spot. Since before my game crashed I remember my residential areas growing german buildings, then amsterdam ones, then US style buildings and it looked like crap. I saw in some CJ's that people here have made it so that buildings of one type grow next to each other and another type in other areas.

Can you make multiple folders within the plugin in folder...so example can I have like PluginIn>Skyscrapers>Skyscraper1, 2, 3, 4 I want to organize everything by like skyscrapers, dependencies, etc. Can I make like 3 folders and then move them to the plugin and put all the stuff in them...is it going to read?

The past days I been posting like a million questions lol (sorry) but this is like the last one of them. Every time I played SIM City 4, I would create one city on one tile and then I would try to cram everything into that one city, such as industry, agriculture, businesses, etc. I never really got to the point of creating a new city next to my completed tile. So my question is if I create one city, with like a business district, can I create a second city next to it or a few tiles away and create a bunch of agriculture farms and then on another tile a industry city and connect all of these 3 with a highway and other transportation. Are the sims who live in once city going to leave my city and travel to another to work in the industry part or agriculture part, and are the industry city sims going to travel to my big business district city? Since I never really understood how this worked, the way I see it is that once I make one city on one tile my sims are only stationed there, and they wont travel to other parts of the city (other tiles). I want to create a big city with businesses, then another tile for suburbs, agriculture and etc. Hopefully I didn't confuse you guys.

If I have one sub-folder inside the plugin folder under Skyscrapers I can place all the BAT files I download into that folder and its going to work? But it might not work if I have the skyscrapers folder and then one folder in there and another one inside that one and so on. DId I get this right?

I am gonna start building my cities again (after my cities all crashed when my PC crashed) before it all went to hell I used the San Diego Map, but I want something different. I like to build on maps that let you build on bigger squares, does anyone know any map names that are big in size, with good water access as well as let you select large parts of the map to build on? Or maps with sharp coast lines, that are already premade.

I played SIm City 4 on a PC before, and developed a amazing city but then the PC crashed and everything with it. Since then I switched to MAC, now I want to start playing SC4 and I was wondering if I should get the game for MAC or install XP on my iMac and do it that way. Are there more Lots and BAt files for PC or is it the same? Anything I am missing with the MAC version? Thanks!
