Hi everyone. I must start by saying that it's good to be back playing SC4 again. I've been a member of Simtropolis (maybe not actively) since 2006. I just got a hold of a windows PC and my old SC4 Deluxe box and here I am. I've forgotten how to do many things but here's a question: How can I zone a row of 1x2s along a street strip? (residential) I used to know how to do this, for example holding down alt, or shift, or control. Because right now, instead of 1x2s, I get an automatic 2x2s and I have to zone 1x2s next to each other manually. Help, anyone? Thank you so much!

Thank you all! I will try all suggestions. I appreciate it.

I recently bought a MacBook Pro 15". Now I'm wondering, is SC4 worth getting for Mac? I mean, would I have the pleasure of using STEX files - mods, lots, nam, and etc. on Mac? I still want to play SC4 and I'm thinking twice of getting it. Would I be able to use all the plugins? And is it as easy to navigate like as it is on PC? Thanks, Ron

I'm an old time player of SC4. However, I stopped playing it for about a year or so. I want to render regions, and somehow there's a new program to render it with. Something that opens .SC4M? How does this thing go? I'm running Vista. Eh, i know. I like XP better. Thanks, Ron

Great progress! I'm loving the growth of industry and the middle class high rises.
-
Interesting story, Can't wait for the city shots.
-
Great job! Very natural. That industrial area will pollute the water and that happens. Very realistic. I'm sure that this city will be one of those developing cities. Class. Keep up the good work.

Okay good! Haha That's a great teaser picture once again. I actually bookmarked this CJ believe it or not people! I bookmark CJs!
-
What happened to this CJ? This is a great CJ! I hope there will be more updates.
-
Great development. Yes, build up the whole thing and continue with the politics. Some assassination huh? Great! Keep up the good work!
-
Now that truly is a teaser. I want to see more. More shots and more zoomed out shots. Great way to tease us there! Keep it coming.

I love the natural development of this. I like how you're not just eye candy. This is real sim city patience you're doing here. Some aim for high rises too soon, I say keep it like this for a while. That's how it's supposed to be. Great job!

I'm loving the region and the growth. Keep it coming, I'd like to see more!

Yes, that is enough to keep me wanting to look for more! I am very intrigued and would like to see what turns out form all of this terraforming. You're doing a great job, and I'm gonna be hanging around!

Great progress! I love the region shot and the region. Keep 'em coming.

I'm loving Washington Square there... Great work on times square!

I am indeed stunned. It's all stunning. I love your skyline it's really great. I love the whole thing. Reminds me of Downtown Long Beach, but your city is much more peaceful. Long Beach doesn't have that nature side. Keep up the good work and I'll definitely be following this!

Nice layout. You're doing well. Hope to see more.

Wow, I browsed through the whole thing. I must say, it's amazing. I can't wait to see Queens!
-
Great work! Great region and I'm looking forward for more. Keep them coming!

Everything is going well! Keep it up. I'm loving the trees. Oh and yes the skull background kinda grabbed more attention. But I like your latest background now. Keep the updates coming.

Maricopa County: A Sprawling Community: A MUST SEE! UPDATE 2
mayorron replied to shaylan221's topic in SC4 City Journals
There you go. You got the dirty industry there. To maintain the slums (which is a good thing, if you're building a realistic metropolis) raise the R$$$ taxes and try not to build too much parks and all that accommodation. You're doing a great job so far. Keep it up! -
Good shots. Can't wait for the movie!
-
Good start and I love the region. I'm sure you'll do fine on this project. And yes, the water mod is necessary for it's look and feel. Wow, it's done on a mac? Tell me if everything goes smoothly, cuz I'm thinking of getting it on mac. Keep up the good work!
