Thanks, the Tsing Ma bridge ought to do the trick.
-
From what I've seen the bridges available on the STEX are mostly non-functional, and I think those that are functional are fixed-length. I don't know what the LEX is.

I'd like to know if there are any draggable bridge styles available on the STEX or elsewhere. I looked and didn't find any, but the STEX is a pain to search sometimes. If not, I'd like to know how I'd go about editing the ones that come with the game. I'm working on a city that I decided to call "Midnight Bridge," referring to a very long bridge I plan to build, but the only style long enough to span the crossing is the Golden Gate style -- and orange obviously wouldn't be fitting. All I'd really need to do is edit the colors of the Golden Gate style to dark blue or almost black. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

Editing in-game landmark attributes

I already figured out how to edit and patch the Amalienborg using the exemplar analyzer and editing the hex values, but thanks for the tip on the building tweaker; that'll save me from converting to and from hex. -

Editing in-game landmark attributes
Caesius replied to Caesius's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Nevermind, looked in the modding section of the forum and found out that I have to use a program called ilive reader. Now I'm just gonna make the Amalienborg have the same costs and effects as CN Tower, heh. -
Editing in-game landmark attributes

That rule isn't listed in the sticky in this forum, but okay. Now will you answer me? :M -
Edit: Sorry if this is in the wrong section btw. It'd be wonderful if I could make the aesthetic centerpiece of my planned commercial district the commercial centerpiece as well, as I'd rather not plop down 16 large plazas or 4 PanPacific towers. I already got the mod for landmark jobs, but I don't think ~200 jobs in the Amalienborg will cut it considering the enormous amount of space it takes up. I already tried SCEdit, but it's in beta and apparently the ability to edit landmarks is "coming soon." How the heck did that guy edit the Amalienborg to give it jobs then? Actually, even better than giving it jobs would be to be able to edit the landmark effect and radius. Is there an editor that will allow me to edit Amalienborg.dat included in the landmark jobs modification? I already opened it in notepad and got garbage. At the very least I want to give it ~4000 jobs if I can't edit the landmark radius. Alternatively, I could just do something like this: ...which would be overkill, no?
