  1. The growth of the Philadelphia metropolitan area

I wish the 295/NS interchange was like that haha. Right now it is amazingly confusing, congested, and dangerous. http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=39.871738,-75.101166&spn=0.01469,0.027552&t=h&z=15
  2. Show us your city, road or transit maps!

  3. The different looks of NYC

haha, those towers are too nice to be the Duncan Projects
  4. MP Commercial Apts02

I really love all these low wealth buildings you've been releasing. They are great and go so well in my cities. Can't wait for more :D
  5. Impeach or not?

They should have done it about 5 years ago.
  6. The Fun Palace

I really like the building, but not the lot. I don't think the path is necessary and being set back so far from the road would make it look out of place in an urban setting, as a building like this most likely would be in.
  7. Philadelphia vs Pittsburgh

I have never been to Pittsburgh but it seems like a really nice city... I LOVE LOVE LOVE Philadelphia, not just because I grew up here either though. I can't think of any other city like Philly (or really... the whole metro)... it's hard to describe. Sure we have problems, some neighborhoods are downright warzones, the schools suck, and the job market isn't moving, but most of the city is great. Pictures:
  8. Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway is my favorite. The wide boulevard connects City Hall and the art museum, both beautiful landmarks themselves. Looking towards the art museum: Towards city hall: Logan Square (really a circle)
  9. I-95 In Philadelphia is terrible not because it it too small, or the roads are bad, but it completely disconnects the city from the Delaware River front. On one side are the historical and trendy neighborhood of Old City, the ritzy Society Hill, and the working class Italian/Irish South Philadelphia. On the other side there are parking lots, big box stores, and strip clubs. Basically, the east border of Philadelphia is I-95, not the Delaware River. On the New Jersey side, mass transit is horrible, with only one 14-mile commuter line and terrible bus service, so every highway and major road is jam packed going both in and out of the city at rush hour. This isn't really a highway problem but more of a problem with the lack of transit and the amount of sprawl in south jersey.
