Originally posted by: justintime Hey Burro, why is the Sakhali wiki down?quote> Hm, it is? No doubt it'll be back soon... Maj.com (my image host) has been down for the past WEEK, it's just come back within the past day or so. Unfortuately, i've also been away for the past week as well and I probably won't be back for a while... at least until my car gets fixed.

Nice work Fukuda, looks strikingly similar to the stuff Decius did...

Despite being the only Driver game to contain 1 City, Parallel Lines is probably the bast one out of the lot... it was nice to see Atari get their s**t together after Driver 3. That said... its certainly no GTA. I don't think mods are enough to make me keep playing it.

The Graphics aren't going to be as sharp or as detailed as SC4, with HDR and stuff these days games tend to look a little 'fuzzy'. However, I have every hope in MC that they have the brains and abilities to get the job done and get it done to expectations, if not beyond. Superior gameplay is the key... SCS might have had 'nice' graphics, but thats nothing without playability. Mr_Maison - The scale should be fine, as long as everything isn't as chunky as SCS. The scale in SC4 may have looked perfect, but it in fact was way off... even some of the buildings Maxis done were weird scales, this is evident when you compare some buildings side by side in game or Lot Editor.

Thanks Giligone Due to a rise in IPON members coming over from SC4Devotion, i've started a Sakhaliya thread over there too. Both threads will be treated equally though, i'm not going to be working on exclusive updates for each site since it would be unfair... not to mention hard work Also, because of SC4D's MD time limit of 40 days to an update before it get moved to an inactive bin, you can expect some more regular updates too! Planning on another update this weekend... i'll keep you posted

Well, it shouldn't take that long. Build a big enough city, keep pollution and crime low while Education and Health standards high and you should have no problem. On the other hand... you can just download alot of mods and cheat...

Heh, nice work. Resembles the Fire Station from the 2050 SC2K tileset... I've been tempted to do a few industrial buildings from that tileset since they look quite dystopian, haven't got around to it yet though.

Decided it was time to update my desktop - -
Jimmy Page definitely, but I could go for Hendrix and Alex Lifeson. Stefan Elmgren from Hammerfall is also awesome

Originally posted by: outriderdriver there are still straight line curbs on the turned roads. arent those things of the past?!quote> Curves in games are made up of alot of straight lines anyway... Watched the Video though, it was alright, doesn't show off anything we don't already know about... certainly won't keep me satisfied untill its sitting in my 360 being played to death!

Not rosy, just vague... I agree not all of them are there to fulfill their own dream of an Iraq without foreign interference, alot of them are there just to generally make life for the coalition difficult and carry out Jihad on the infidels.

Originally posted by: Simfan34 Ugh! Is the FACT that "In Iraq there are terrorists terrorists DO NOT want stable gov't we are the only people fighting these terrorists atm" in dispute! I tolerate people's view, and consider myself a liberal conservative, but yeesh! What's going on today?quote> The terrorists/insurgents do want a stable government, but they want one that is sided with them and not the Coalition.

Originally posted by: KeldK I don't remember where this is from, but somewhere, it's illegal to shoot a whale, while sitting in a car.quote> I'm sure its Oklahoma I read about it too... what makes it even more retarded is that Oklahoma is a land-locked state I have one: In World War II, 3 American Paratroopers scouting the countryside in a jeep ran into a German Tank Division. The officer in the jeep walked up to the German Lt. General and convinced him that there were hundereds more Army Rangers and tanks behind them and that he should surrender now. In the end, an armored division surrendered to 3 very very lucky guys in a jeep!quote> I heard something like that too. There was a guy asked to guard some cross roads in Normandy and managed to take out a battalion of German Panzers himself, even after being shot. I can't remember the page where I read about this but i'll see if I can find it.
