ok, i hope someone can help me with this. i have some probs with the night windows, night lights work fine. the way u make night windows like in gmax won't work, i can select an object, enable it as night window and, nothing. andcan someone please explain me how the night libraries should work? sounds interresting from what i read in the readme. thx

omg, i'm such an idiot, i just added a new plugcfg line into the 3dsmax.ini and did not change the existing.

@ shadow_assasin the problem with the colored squares got treated some pages before and i'm running against a wall atm. had to reinstall my max and now i get always this error when starting it. ok , first, i really like the embankments. here's a thought about it, it works perfect for left 1x1 diagonal cells, but for right 1x1 diagonal cells is the embankment too big. here#s a screen that may help

select only the house, goto file-save selected. then close max, open the newly saved file and try to export it again, u also may render the lods in gmax new. i had such problems several times, but i got them solved after a few tries

hey, what i wanted to ask, is it pssible to get an night preview? it's not hard to get a day preview with selecting the zoom cam u want and render it. but how can i get night previews?

i want to show this building also here on st to get some suggestions. that's the actual status. i plan to make a ladder from the lower roof to the upper roof on the right side of the upper roof. on the lower roof will be a landing pad and on the pper roof some antennas. the lift will be at the stripe of the smaller part of the building. i will have to think about the base, i don#t have any specific ideas yet -

those 2 plants look really cool @ sarge, the texture of the pipes looks a bit, hmm, weird. @ odm looks good, except the lot itself, but we would need some noew more marsian ground textures -

well, i found the time (after finishing half life 2 ) to work a little bit on my tower. i finished now with the very basic shape. the part at the top was a mess with my modeling skills . -
