Chelonia: Jamestowne, A Modern Capital On the northern shore of Lake George, the first of the rebuilt cities grew. Prince Lincoln, an “ample” Ginger cat with the vision and determination the rebuilding needs, assumed leadership of the principality and established the new capital city of Jamestowne. In a break from tradition, he has chosen to live in a country estate outside of the capital. The other viceroy-level leaders all have in-town palaces. The biggest surprise is his decision regarding the thousands of motor vehicles left behind after Queensferry’s occupation force was driven out. Most of the country has banned them from general use due to the feline aversion to cars. Lincoln got the Supreme Wirdle’s blessing to try an experiment – allowing the vehicles to stay in Chelonia, with certain restrictions. He proposed to create a special division of the National Transit Office to supervise the vehicles’ introduction. The MTO, Motor Transport Office, has authorized limited use of cars in the streets of Chelonia subject to the following restrictions: the speed may not exceed 5 MPH, they may only be used in daytime hours, and all drivers must pass a competency test. Any rules violations will result in a minimum fine of being sprayed with water and chased. Repeat offenders will be banned from driving and chased up a tree. Prince Lincoln, shown above, got the first driver’s license. Jamestowne, viewed from the south, sits on the northern shore of Lake George. At the center is the government complex. Just north of Government House is War Memorial Plaza. A trail leads from the north side of the plaza up the ridge to the ruins of the region’s castle. Government House is a three-building complex to house the principality’s government as well as the Council of Lake George, regional Bureau of Feline Affairs office, and the city’s offices. It was rebuilt from the previous administrative complex and also comes with a nifty plaza with statues. Heroes’ Square, as the plaza is officially named, features statues of the two leaders of the liberation – Generals Tippi and Cecil. True heroes on the half shell! The busy port is the busiest on Lake George. Passengers and freight go back and forth between Jamestowne and St. George, Baconsborough, and Turtle Pond daily. The fishing fleet is based here, providing tasty salmon, tuna, and other stinky fish for discriminating feline palates. Fish and many other fine products are sold at Trotro Market, the largest commercial emporium on the lake. A trendy new restaurant is inside as well. There, you can pounce on your own prey and have it served fresh on a bed of catnip. Mmmmm, tasty! The Cathedral of St. James is on the waterfront, on the intersection of Main Street and West Street. Across West Street is the Hive Performing Arts Center (HPAC). HPAC hosts theatre productions, concerts, and currently features dancing honeybees. These are some of the stately homes on Cathead Terrace The residents on Edgehill Lane overlook, but do not look down upon, those living on Cathead Terrace. At the north end of town is War Memorial Plaza. It is the largest war memorial in the Lake George area. This area was the center of Queensferry’s scorched-earth withdrawal from the theater of operations. On the ridge just north of town, remnants of the council’s protective castle remains, preserved as a national historic park. It is accessed by a gravel path which begins by Memorial Church. War Memorial Plaza is the largest of its kind in Chelonia. The plaza features flags, memorials, and a central hall. On the northern side is Memorial Church and the path to the castle on the hill. All of these comprise Lake George National Historic Park. Some of the fallen are buried at Memorial Church as well. Many others are at National Cemetery, which is built on the largest peak in the region. The path to the castle starts here. The path is quite steep. But the views from the top are worth it! Here we are at the Castle on the Hill. I made some changes to the FSH files for 2 of the WMP ferry terminal models being used in the lot. 2. Also made some changes to the barrier position inside the "Nams PROP Pack Vol 2.dat". So, if you have any plugins that use those specific props (I haven't found any yet), you might see some minor issues. Enjoy, and here's the gameplay if you want to see it being used in my city.

Probably some of you have already see this entry, but as we know, we have lost a lot of data, so I will post again Tacoma. Today we will travel to another city in Rivamar. Thanks for all the comments! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today, we will visit finally some city outside from coast, our trip start in Tacoma. Tacoma is former a mainly dormitory city, but in the last of 60s start a new development, with some industries and after that some commerce. The city itself there's no much attractive, so we will pass fastly toward. Tacoma is located east from Santarrío (we will travel after), which in turn is east from San Martin. Tacoma Population: 197.988 First, a city panorama: Centro The first neighborhood it is the currently most important financial hub in city. It was start developed in the late of 90s, and in middle of 2000s have a great change in an ambicious project, drag down all roads, and let the access with cars only by outside neighborhood, while the inside is accessible only with GLR and walk (unless you let your car in some of parking lots nearby and walking). As it is only commercial and offices, the population is exactly zero, as the all parts outside the two avenues are in another districts administration: Tacoma there is no much things to do, however the most famous landmark is the Parque de las Flores which runs south-north and it is divided in three different parts and have access from differents districts in city: Montoya Pop: App. 27.000 Montoya is the second most important district in city in terms of service and commercial jobs and it was the most important itself before the construction in Centro. But still have the importance, and as is connurbated with Santarrío, it is very dense (according city standards): Vista del Río Pop: App. 21.000 It is famous by the biggest church in city: Catedral de Nostra Señora, and it is located southeast from Parque de las Flores: Villa Nueva Pop: App. 10.000 It is the most expensive district in the city, near every major points and it is famous by the apartments blocks building in the last of 50s, which give a very charming appearence to neighborhood. It is very flat and have a lot of land to buy and build in north part, also there's a plan to build a new olympic stadium, but this is at this moment only speculations... To this moment you can go in Villa Nueva to see the Modern Art Museum (Museo de Arte Moderna), and the small park in annex Parque Este Pop: Appr. 28.000 It is mostly residential, and as the spanish name says, it is located east from the Park: San Pedro Pop: 49.000 Finally, we reach the largest and most populated district: It is very residential, but also have a large commercial zones and mixed zonning, with a lot of houses in north part. Now, to ending our trip, some suburban and industrial districts: That's it for today. I hope you enjoy!
