Parkland Plans

here are some plans for parkland... they are each labeled... if you click on an image, it will give you a larger view... these are very large images... you have been warned... here is a large overview of all the infrastructure being put in place here is the lrt lines in yellow, and the purple line for commuter rail the red lines represent the freight rail lines this is the main highways (green) and aretires (black) map

I needed to add on a ton of room for parkland without haveing to restart the region from scratch or other ways i rendered 3 other seperate regions for the space i needed. the only thing i have to do now is photoshop the 4 regions together at the end before i post the full region. this will take some work and new challenges for me matching up the regions.... lots of counting.... but i think it will work out great click on image for larger view.. it is very very large, 33M, be warned!

I have taken a very new approach to Parkland... I have always thought about doing this, but finally got enough guts to completly change the city... still focused on realism... but without the highways downtown... like many many large cities, parkland has done away with the downtown highways and replaced them with urban boulevards.... you can see a vrey great example at this site : http://www.planofnashville.com/ here are the before and after pics... revisiting downtown.... highway sound walls, speed limit signs, and highways signs have been added, and the original brick streets have been restored downtown as part of the beautification of downtown. the planning commision has also settled in on two different options for the new bridge the connect downtown with campton... here are the two options, voice your opinion
