Update 14: Clearyville

Time for today's update. Today we're going to go south of the capital where our story is taking place. Where?

Yes, Clearyville. It's a small suburb, but has an interesting history. It originally was supposed to be the capital. However, a freak fire broke out a few weeks before the city was christened capital. The fire was put out, but a good bit of development was destroyed. Afraid another random fire would break out, country leadership decided they would move north where Johnson City is today.
Not many pics. I didn't want to give you too many generic suburb pics.
The downtown. It's not much, but it shouldn't be. It's a suburb...

The town has a large rail station, second only to Paradise City's station (it will be third when the capital's station is finished) It even has a small shopping center under it.

Its indusrial district is small, but it is the power house of the region (well, it will be soon)

Maybe I care too much about freeways but here are the exits servicing Clearyville, from I-1.

Rt 8 runs straight through Clearyville, and a bunch of other towns too.

Goes to the train station.

Partial access to Clearyville's bypass, US 3.

This exit is mainly to keep from crowding the end of I-1 up, as it ends just north of Johnson City.

They're close and used a lot.
The story continues Sunday. Get up for it. Well not literally.....
Cheers, and have a great Martin Luther King weekend for my stateside friends!![]()
