you should update less but better, like what Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe said "Less is More", here you should go for "Less and More"

To much updates are a bit like spammigI myself do one or two updates a week,
more detail and more variance,
people love photoshop effects, you can use Gimp that is free of charge and get good results

From what you said on page 4, aren't you required to have pictures. If not, you should be. I would love to see your city photo's too.
