Time Flies, part 2
Time Flies, Part 2
July 19th, 0165AL (2021)

The CS-2
???: Captain Yelslew, there's a wormhole opening... there's a ship coming out.
Captain Yelslew: What type?
???: Its a Yanar Class runabout...
Captain Yelslew: But that type was discontinued nearly 50 years ago... Hail them.
Back on the Larman
Brad: They're hailing us.
Major Zargolf: Onscreen.
Captain Yelslew: Attention Yanar class runabout, this is the CS-2 Entison and...
The people on both ships stared at each other, but no one spoke for several seconds.
Lt. Black: Lauren Ahrns?
Lauren: Actually, it's Captain Lauren Yelslew now.
Brad: How long did it take us to get here?
Lauren: About 77 years. Also, you are clear to dock at the port side docking port.
The transmission ended, and the screen went back to showing the CS-2 and the planet.
Jadzia: Who is Lauren Ahrns?
Lt. Black: She is one of our allies back in our time.
Brad: Scans of the planet show that it is inhabited by a mix of species, including zukes, gremlins, and muphridians.
Major Zargolf: I think we should dock.

Later
Brad: So we traveled into the future?
Lauren: Yes
Major Zargolf: Can you tell us what happened between the time we left and now?
Lauren: No.
Jadzia: Some form of the Temporal Prime Directive?
Lauren: Something like that.
Jadzia then walked over to Lt. Lamar, the Karani, and then another familiar person walked onto the bridge.
Lauren: This is my first officer, Commander Mardon.
Mardon: I know how to send you back to your own time.
Major Zargolf: How?
Mardon: Just fly though the same wormhole you came though.
Lt. Black: Is it safe to go back though?
Mardon: Scans of the wormhole show that it is stable, and that it will remain that way for some time?.
Major Zargolf: Is that all we have to do?
Mardon: To get back to your own time, yes. However, I recommend opening up a new wormhole to this planet once you get back. Make sure the wormhole doesn't travel to close to the B5A-196. This will briefly open up the wormhole, then both that wormhole and the original one will both collapse. I suggest you do this when you're not on the runabout, though as it will cause a large explosion and I don't know exactly how strong your runabout's shielding is. A distance of 100 km of both wormholes should be sufficient. Also, and subsequent wormholes that are aimed here will be safe once the original time travel wormhole is collapsed. Is that clear?
Major Zargolf: The instructions are, but I don't think the explanation will be.
Mardon: Then I just won't bother with an explanation.
Lt. Black: Good.
Major Zargolf: Jadzia?
Jadzia: I'm coming, goodbye Lt. Lamar.
Lt. Lamar: Goodbye, Dax.
Mardon: You didn't say anything about their future, did you?
Lt. Lamar: No, just stuff about our people and stuff that happened in the distant past, for both us and them.
Mardon: Good.
Lauren walked over to Brad and placed her hands on Brad's shoulders.
Lauren: Say hello to me when you get back, okay?
Brad: I understand.

Later, on the Larman
Brad: Mloret's coming.
Jadzia: Mloret?
Lt. Black: Dark gray fur, looks like a humanoid cat...
Jadzia: You already told me that.
Lt. Black: And what do you mean by he's coming?
Brad: He is coming to Narya, soon. To attack.
Major Zargolf: How do you know?
Brad: Lauren, the future Lauren told me.
Lt. Black: But she said that she couldn't!
Brad: It was when she said to say hello to herself.
Major Zargolf: So she was hiding it from the others...
Brad: P2H-345!
Major Zargolf: What?
Brad: There's some sort of weapon there we could use.
Lt. Black: Is this from Lauren again?
Brad: Yes.
Lt. Black: Now, do you know if someone is sending us on an interplanetary scavenger hunt?
Brad: What?
Lt. Black: This is the second planet someone's mentioned that we have no idea what is there yet... At least I think P2H-345 has a stargate.
Early, 2 days later:
Brad: Coming out of the wormhole, hopefully this is the correct time this time.
Jadzia: Yes, the scans show that it is about 3 days after the time we left.
Major Zargolf: Good.
The runabout slowed to a stop, and turned around to face the now open wormhole, and everyone got into the runabouts transporter.
Brad: Activate program "return."
Computer: Acknowledged.

The transported activated and they were beamed to the main transporter in the RDPM, and then the a new wormhole opened, and immediately collapsed along with the other wormhole, and the energy released slightly damaged the runabout.

Later that day at the Narya RDPM
Rear Admiral Laura: What do you suggest that we do about Mloret?
Gen. Yelslew: I'm not sure other than to get every available ship ready for battle.
As was usual for communicators, Admiral Laura's communicator went off in the middle of the conversation.
RA Laura: What is it?
Communicator: The 8th and final shield generator has been completed.
RA Laura: Good, send a message to activate the planetary shield.
Communicator: Already?
RA Laura: I will explain later.
Gen. Yelslew: Well, that's a start.

One of the Narya planetary shield generators
There was a loud humming as the generators began to build up a large amount of power, then a bright flash as a rush of blue shield plasma shot into the sky to begin forming the shield.

Once the shield plasma reached the proper height, it spread out and began to envelop the entire planet, gradually becoming clear as it settled into position.
Myoria

Nikki: We are currently just to the north of Leechville, and this is the same road that runs by Leechville.
Nick: However, it isn't quite as curvy down by Leechville as it is here.
Nikki: You can also just see a bit of Murn Lake as well.

Nikki: Of course, it may be because it runs by Mt. Murn here, the highest mountain in Myoria.
Nick: You can barely see the road below though all the trees here.
Nikki: But most of the western side of Mt. Murn is rocky, not forested.
Nick: it is also just on the Myorian side of the Seldonian border.

Nick: Some of the cabins along Murn lake, the main body of water in the area.
Nikki: Those garbage trucks seem to be lost... They've been going around that roundabout for quite some time now.

Nikki: More cabins.

Nick: Overview of the cabins on the far south end of Murn Lake.
Comments:
feliwi: At least you like part of it.
Schulmanator: Glad you like it!
Shingure: Maybe...
zelgadis: Have a better idea of what is coming yet?
Leech10: New Ship!
Schulmanator2: Thanks for the comment!
Smarty218: Glad you like it!
