Your city journal has progressed quite nicely.  It's very detailed and looks quite realistic.  Though, the cloudy pictures create a kind of layer of mystery over everything.

Haha very clever. I am from Clacton and know this area. let me guess Mersey is Mersea, Chesterfiled is Colchester and Waldon must be Maldon. Top stuff, super detailed and realistic! The very well made PEG old waterfront stuff would suit St Osyth and Brightlingsea very much too. I try to be realistic but not a patch on this.

Impressive! Spot-on mate. The names might be a bit of a giveaway, but when you later see a regional shot (although it might be some time, the terrain needs major terraforming works still, and I also don't want to show it while it is still so bare), you will see those towns in the exact locations of their real-life counterparts.

I will be later creating developed areas where Clacton and Walton-on-the-Naze are too. For my region, those will be the main developments at the north-east of Tendring. Waldon will be the main developed area for the south-west, Chesterfield will be a small city in the north of the region, and the central Mersey Island will be the largest and most developed area, gradually swallowing the small surrounding towns and villages into its conurbation.

Brightlingsea will become a fairly developed area too eventually, once this region has progressed a long way. Not over-large, but possibly with some very nice modern waterfront developments, overlooking the River Holm (Colne) estuary towards Mersey Island.

Those are the plans anyway.
