Oakland International Airport is just 4 miles south of Downtown. Currently this is the most important airport in the Bay Area Region. International Destinations are Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Mexico City, Cancun, Alcapulco, Bangkok, Tokyo, Singapor, London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
