Over the next two updates, we'll be taking an extended look at the Motor City - Detroit. Today, we'll be starting off in Downtown Detroit where a number of the city's most iconic skyscrapers and buildings are located. There's a wide variety of unique architectural styles and designs on display here - and we'll be taking a look at the city's downtown core in the daytime, nighttime, and even during wintertime throughout the update.

Our first sight will be Ally Detroit Center (formerly known as One Detroit Center) - the city's second tallest skyscraper. Completed in 1993, it stands 619 feet tall and is known for its distinctive postmodern design and neo-gothic spires which blend architecturally with the city's historic skyline.

Nearby is the iconic Guardian Building, which was constructed from 1928-1929 as the Union Trust Building and stands 496 feet tall. Its unique, bold Art Deco design includes many elements of art moderne and has earned it a landmark designation as well.

We now move over to the impressive Penobscot Building, which upon completion in 1928 was the 8th tallest building in the world and 4th tallest in the United States - and held the title as the city's tallest building until 1993. Rising the building to 562 feet tall, the building's spire is especially impressive and comes to life around the holidays.

Our last scene is Detroit's tallest skyscraper - the Renaissance Center. This group of seven connected skyscrapers was constructed from 1973 to 1981 and its tallest building - the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center - towers 727 feet above the nearby downtown and Detroit River. The complex is owned by General Motors and serves as its world headquarters and as a symbol of the city.

Great to see some of the best @mipro BATs getting some love. Excellent work as usual, and always great to see you integrating NAM networks and other functional in-game assets. Hopefully there's more to come in this series. *:)
