Apostle Islands
Population: 246

The Apostle Islands are a group of 22 islands in Lake Superior, off the Bayfield Peninsula.

Trivia:

On and around these islands, the Ojibwa people discovered and innovated agricultural advancements, including excavating copper deposits and
creating specialized tools for agriculture, hunting and fishing, the use of canoes in rice harvesting, conjugal collaborative farming, and
the Three Sisters Crop Complex, enabling the Ojibwa to greatly expand their population, territory and power outward in all directions
creating an enormous nation. However, these rapid advances in technology, along with five more centuries of migration from the east, also
caused divisive ideological disagreements over traditionalism, and ultimately, the Potowatomi, Ottawa, and other tribes split off, leaving
the Ojibwe alone wielding full control over the entire Lake Superior region, with the Islands remaining their current power center, but all
the many Mississippi nations' ancient cultural and spiritual home.

Conover
Population: 1235

Conover is a town in Vilas County

Trivia:

The town is named after Seth H. Conover, who would travel to the area for hunting and fishing. He would often take a train to the area,
even though there was no station there. Eventually, the railroad men started calling the area "Conover's Place." A station was soon built
there, and several logging camps were established. The town continued to grow when other businesses were established. In 1935, the town hall
 was built.

Hooray! Congratulations on your first feature! *:)

I love how boring this region is. Just a watering hole filled with deer carcass...

Haha, no, just kidding. *:kitty:*:kitty: I like your handiwork on the water and shores in this region. The rocky coast looks good with all of the boulders scattered around. From the main picture I can see that there will be even more waterways to look at and admire. Keep it up. Nice job! *;)
