Laguna Shores: Part 2
Welcome back to Laguna Shores for our final entry on this city. While the previous journal focused on the main city located on Morningside Island, this journal will explore the coastal and boating life of Laguna Bay through the various smaller islands which can be seen in the map above.
INTRODUCTION: PORT DISTRICT AND THE BAY ISLANDS
The best place to start will be the Port District or downtown area of Laguna Shores which serve as the central hub for the various docs and marinas around the bay. In the images below, you can see the appeal for sims of dashing from island to island on the weekends with the cosmopolitan hart of Laguna Shores never too far away.

FORT DAMME AND FORT MAJORTA
A few centuries ago, Laguna Shores was well known as "Deadman's Lagoon" caused a lot of trouble for would-be colonizers of the region. Two forts were built to guard the old colonial city, Fort Damme and Fort Majorta, but they were eventually taken over and turned into pirate forts. In modern times, they're museums to the tumultuous history of the area.
