Grant County - A Slice of Middle America

Nice introduction.  It's very amusing, and even though I disagree with your views on the grid (they are soul-less) I look forward to seeing the development. It looks like a great map, and that satelliete pic of the farms does look kind of 'neat'.  

PS & off-topic: You seem to forget, as do most voters, that Gordon Brown and Douglas Hogg (chief moat builder) are from opposing parties. It's the Tories who are guilty of the most rediculous of the expenses claims... including duck islands and helipads. Poor Old Gordy is suffering from incumbent syndrome, and smug 'Pudding Face' Cameron is lapping it up.

i think the grid system should only be used down town the grid system does not look as nice as curved roads and such.  If you're trying to make an urban center then the grid system is the way to go.

Thanks for the comments. I personally don't like the ubiquity (and soul-less-ness) of the grid system, but I recognize that's the reality of the development in most areas. I was trying to acknowledge that in my semi-sardonic comment. My attempts at humor are usually based on that.

It should be noted that I am a United Statesian and what I know of the British expense account scandal comes from small blurbs I hear on NPR. I have a hrd time keeping up with all the corrupt politicians here in the US that I miss some details from the corrupt politicians across the pond.
