That peinsula south of Huia would be perfect for the Schulmauckland enclave!

On the recent (June 2009) Schulmania State Visit to Auckland the delegation took off to the west from the airport and turned to the left right over the top of "Schulmauckland" on the way to Wellington.    Little did either Schulmanator or abcvs know way back in September 2007 that one day in the not too distant future, they would both be flying over that very piece of land together.

It is amazing how one comment in a CJ can lead to the most amazing things in real life!

Very true! And, if one squinted as one looked out of the plane window, one could just make out the Centre of Dogocracy and the Chapel of St. Curious.

I was mentioning to a member of the family something just like that.  Is is amazing what life brings us and who we might meet.  I got to meet someone who reads my blog that lives in Florida.  That was a pleasure indeed.  Imagine going to the ends of the Earth the way Schulmanator did.  :-) and I will wager that  he found meeting you and the family more than worth the trip.  More than.

Two years ago I was not sure if real friendships could be made on the internet.

Two years later, I am now sure that they can.
