New Arlenes: Naming Rights
To help this new port quickly become successful, Chancellor Mooky has given special dispensation for some unusual arrangements for New Arlenes. First, since the port needs to be commercially viable to aid in trade and building the coastal economy, the Chancellor has declared the city to be a Free Trade Zone. This allows foreign non-feline businesses to operate here as they would in their home countries. A designated zone for the foreign businesses has been set aside along the waterfront.
To increase the city’s vitality and integrate it into Schulminion society (as it is quite far from our other cities at the moment) the Mookimian government has authorized the construction of a first of its kind facility in Schulmania – a convention center complex. Mayor De Purrton hopes that it will bring in plenty of business – both domestic and international – to jump start the economy.

As we move around town, we see bustling shops and businesses. Prima Real Estate of New Arlenes won a contract to build housing for the city and has built higher density structures which preserve our desire for open space. The resulting buildings are called the Prima Quads.
