Join The Gang up on Inspiration POINT
(One of our favorite hangouts!)
Lots of things went on up here on Inspiration Point! Folks tell me, "I was made up here" (heh heh) so, no wonder I have a connection with The Point. This is summer 1953 my junior year was over and us "SENIORS" to-be went up on a campingtrip (the ladies will join us later)
Meet the gang and some of the cast members! Keep an eye on Wolfman, hes a character! Oh, you wonder about the colorization. Its one of those things they did 'back in the day'. It was big business. See, this was a b/w Kodak. Moms took it over to the photo shop down on the strip to hve it "colorized"
Oh! wheres my manners!: Meet "Julie".... my uh.. (other woman) . Darlen's jealous of her because of all the time and attention I give her. See, My pops passed on and I got his favorite truck! Me and the gang hop in here and terrorize the whole county..
You can see a lot from The Point! Just don't get too close the edge! Many legends that will be revealed in my story of notable lives lost from "the cliff"... several in our group pic of the guys aren't among us anymore because of "The Cliff".
Look over to your left is Stepford Beach! We plan to go down there tomorrow morning. Notice the famous landmark down there? Thats the café where a filming crew came here to film a scene in "The Birds"....thats a whole different story , not covered in this journal. We plan to have fun up here tonight on the point, as soon as the ladies get here, we are going to party and tell spookie stories.. OH and we plan to keep an eye on "Wolfman.. its a full moon tonight!
The Big Weekend is ON! We are here at SimTasty's right now! Can you smell them smoked ribs! The girls are here now. Earlier I went down into town to pick up Darlene and the truck broke down.
My Julie is sittn in the shop at "16 Minute Man Body Shop & Gas". I hope to pick'er up in the morning. I feel lost without 'er especially with the full moon tonite and eerie happenings are rumored to occur. Not good to be without wheels when theres a wolfman siting up here on Inspiration point just last week!
Wow! What a party! Its Sunday Morning already! Someone else need to fill us in on what happened last night! All I can remember is my buddy bringing me a "Fallstaff" and next thing I know, I am here talking to you!
Something tells me "what went on up on Inspiration Point...Stays up on Inspiration Point". Oh well, plenty time to meet the girls in our next episode "The High School & Neighborhoods.
