the purple marker lines indicate places in the region in real life as of 2001 AD does not show ghost towns or abandoned cities. The largest Settlemt Is pedro Bay as you can see part of its administrative area extends off the simcity region map Boundary. the other settlments are un organized. Theres one ghost town thats not shown on this map.

i like your enthusiasim but unfortunatly im trying to build this region like in real life. and i looked at the satalite veiw on google maps and i still cannot find where the people live. i did look at my 1939 map of alaska and i learned something new Pedro bay village was listed on the map back then as well as dutton but it was not until the 1950 census that pedro bay reached 25 or more people it was a small outpost from 1939 to 1950. i cant get population numbers for the other 3 settlements. its likely that the number of people in the 3 outlying villages could be 25 people apiece so all together i think about 200 people live on this map. theres plenty of flat lands inbetween the chigmit mountains thousands of people could live here but this region as not been seriusly colonized by humans in real life most colonization of in the past 60 years alaska was in the city of Anchorage

i wanted to point out that on the satilite view there was a street called Village office road i switched to satilite view and seen a structure along this street this has to be the city hall. but the population would never get high enough for me to be gifted the city hall so this structure would have to be ploped. this city hall is located on the city tile that borders Airport on the east. The other 3 settlements dont have village halls becasue they are unorganized. Pedro bay is not incorporated but its still organized into a village government.

i think Drunk apple made the detail of this map probably too Detailed. Acording to wikipedia this town only covers 17.3 Sqaure miles but the area i indicated on the map i shown seems like more then 17.3 miles to me even though i drew the lines as accurate as i could. what this means is hypothetically this pedro bay could hold atleast 17000 people even with a section of it not being on the region map. which would mean the density could go even higher then 1000 people per mile. and this is with out trying to build on the mountains. but i really dont mind that the map is so detailed i just wanted to build it like real life. there is one problem however the Hamlet of Dutton is geograpically far away from Pedro bay and the city tiles in between do not have names in real life so i would never be able to put in all the conecting roads becasue id also have to give this city tiles names and there not named in real life. but for now im still only building the pedro bay section which covers multiple large city tiles.

I checked the stex for Wells fargo bank branchs and found none. i could only find Wells fargo towers. also i have Wachovia banks buildings and these became part of Wells fargo in the year 2011. technically i could build a Wachovia branch across the street from village office or some where else close and just pretend that it is a wells fargo bank instead. these Wachovia branchs can hold 19 jobs. and the population of this city is 40 people so if i build a wachovia branch then half the people would be working in this wachovia branch. what do you people think i should do?
