Let's see where we are going. I've made a rough outline of what I want to make of this part of the region. The southwestern part is supposed to become the central part of a large metropolis, with the blue parts high-density development with CBD's and highrise apartment buildings. Red is highway, grey avenue and black rail.

As you can see, there has been quite some development south of Hutchville: Foresia and Oceantown. These are large suburbs, consisting mostly of single homes, clean industries and local businesses.  Let's take a look at Foresia first. The Foresia area houses 16115 sims, who mainly work in high-tech industrial parks in around the city. Let's see how the town started out. As you can see, the goal is to keep an open, quiet feel to the town.

Let's have a look around the town as it is right now. First, a nice overview, showing the different locations of the town.

As you can see, Foresia has 8 medium wealth neighbourghoods (Rectan, Trian, Meers, Johns, Canali, Kike, Spore and Shelton), 1 rich neighbourhood (La Richesse), two high-tech indutrial parks (Foresia Tech and Silicon) and one dirty indutry park (Carbon Field). Lots of parks can be found in the town, the largest being John's Park, which houses the John College, John Church, John Water Tower and the Foresia Sports Park. There are two high schools (Meers and Kike), three passenger train stations (Carbon Field, Spore and Downtown) and a university (Foresia Tech University). Let's have a closer look at some of the neighbourhoods.

This is La Richesse. As more and more high-tech industry was coming to the town, demand for high-wealth housing started to emerge. This is what Foresia decided to do with that demand.

West of La Richesse, we find Foresia Tech. When the Foresia University of Technology was founded, it attracted many high-tech businesses, that could benefit from the research going on at the university.

Next up: John's Park and Downtown. John's Park is the largest park in the city. It's got the John's Church, John's Water Tower and the Pete's Chapel on it. Many Foresians come to relax in this park during nice summer days. Downtown is what you would expect from a suburbs of a large metropolis: mid-sized office buildings and department stores, located next to the H1 and the train station, connecting it to Oceantown, Hutchville and the to be built metropolis.

This is the second largest park in the city, located in Johns: Chillfield. A simple grass field with some trees, a walking trail and a small pond is mostly used for picknicks. Occasionally the city allows events to take place at this field. Small concerts, open-air cinema, circus, carnival etc.

Last, but not least, Silicon. This was the first high-tech park in town. Many people were working at the Carbon Field facilities, but as the town grew, people realised that more people ment more industry and more industry ment more pollution. Because of this, City Hall decided to invest in education to attract high-tech, clean industry, with Silicon as a result. A while later, the Chutao governement offered to build a research facility in Silicon. This meant a large boost in the high-tech sector in the town.

Now it's off to bed. Tomorrow I'll show Oceantown with it's industrial harbor when I get home from work!
