Thanks a lot. Nah, why a tutorial? Nothing special about my layout. I just build blocks 5x11-12 with an alley running down the middle and low-density housing. I use an URBAN HOUSING MOD (you can find it on the STEX or in the MODDs section) that moves the houses closer to the street and adds a driveway and garage. Sprinkle in churches, parks (not just MAXIS parks, but big parks like the size of AT LEAST a block if not much more), small businesses along your main thoroughfares. What you are seeing right now is not really what I would classify as suburbs as much as low-rise urban area like Milwaukee's core. Thanks for all the comments, hope more are coming.
