Driving on the right/left

Hi fellow simtropolians,

I have the UK version of Simcity deluxe and i noticed that all cars drive on the left like in the uk.

in our country we drive on the right. (Belgium). is there a switch for this ?

You're right, the SC4 version distributed in Europe by default drives on the left if you choose "English", it lacks an English-international option (ie right-hand driving, DD/MM/YYYY date, English language).

Yes, there used to be a Left to Right-hand driving switching mod in the Mods and downloads section, allows switching both from and to left and right-hand driving, works really good, and have I jused it a lot for testing my STEX uploads for both configurations.

That would be handy cos here in NZ we get the pacific verson, which for some reason has right had drive despite most of the pacific nations driving on the left. *sigh* Why did the americans hate the english so much they had to change everything?

Does is also swap over road markings?  Even with NAM?  And the one linked to seems to be for going one way not the other.  Is there a right to left?

Have a look at the thread: Solution to the left/right driving issue.

With NAM there is a plugin called something like for left_hand_only (or something similar). This one need to be installed if you want left hand drive, but you can read all about that in the readme file.

btw: Try read what you have writen. It's a bit hard to read.

The modd is called LEFT TO RIGHT SWITCH. It's very simple. BUT... THERE IS ALREADY A THREAD EXPLAINING THIS. PLEASE SEARCH THE FORUMS BEFORE STARTING A NEW ONE.
