The meaning of life...

To live, drink and be merry for tomorrow we might die...

Actually, I have no idea what the meaning of life truly is... But I guess I'll take another stab.

I think that the basic meaning of life, like I said, is to pass your genes on before you die. Of course, the meaning of life can vary. For god-worshipping people, it is to serve Their Lord, whoever and wherever he may be, and whom is not detectable by any instrument. For patriots, it is to serve their country. For some, like the samurai of medieval times, it was to defend honor. And for many others, it is simply to live. Then, you have your average, garden-variety bum/ignoramus who would like to lead a happy little life walking down on the road to nowhere. So really, there are many ways to describe the meaning of life.
