Ok, so i downloaded the spire park fountain, and it seemed to miss a dependancy, but i don't know what, because the creator, mayortim did not put down anything.  In the game, it looks like the fountain is shooting from the ground.
Also, i downloaded a couple of farms from the STEX, and none of them show up.  Sometimes this happens to me and i don't know why, download buildings or lots, and they don't show up.  I usually check all the dependancies to make sure that they'd work, but none of the farms showed up as icons in the game.
If you are still reading, then thank you for your patience and your help.
At night, the nightlight of most of the buildings i downloaded still doesn't work, and yes, i have all the updates, the nightlight fix on ea.com, and i checked several threads regarding this issue, and they won't light up.  And yes, i put on the night and day cycle to let it run through a couple of times.

And i also have brown boxes that show up only at night on top of my avenues, i have no idea why that is happening.
And lastly, my game keeps crashing once in a while, and it's so annoying.

I might as well just uninstall everything and forget about it.

Thank you for all your help!!!

start off right...go to Greyveil's thread  (I say skip all the transit option and go for the lastest version of the NAM...4.gif )

    https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=110&threadid=58510&enterthread=y

after that you'll need the SC4Tool program...it can scan custom lots and possible give you a dependancy list

Latest vesion can be found in Andrea Roth's sig:
    https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=121&threadid=62826&STARTPAGE=15&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linearlastunread

by the sounds of it your missing some of the official files to start with (bat light fix for example)...Grey's thread will get you the REQUIRED files to start using the STEX properly  3.gif

until your move versed in the game and editing...i say for now...no readme file with the zip...maybe saved that lot for later use..2.gif

ps ...remeber to log on to the official site for the links to appear...4.gif no log on...no links

I did follow greyveil's thread and also got everything that i needed from the ea.com site.  I registered and downloaded all the neccessary programs.
I'll download the sc4tool.  Since the new website, there's a few dependancies here and there that do not have the right link or were removed.
Oh well, it seems that i have too many problema, but uninstall everything will take hours to download everything again.
