NO IMAGE? Check your browser settings

Follow the image guide above.

Internet Explorer User: Simply follow the image but change the "Editor Type" to "HTML Editor" indicated by the blue circle. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the "Update Profile" button.

Mozilla Firefox User: Simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and press "Update Profile" you wont need to make any changes.

If you use another browser like safari, avant, or netscape simply follow the same directions for Mozilla Firefox.

Congratulations, if you have anymore problems you can clink the "HTML & BBCode Tutorial" button at the bottom of this message. The tutorial will better explain this.

I don't get the option an it still doesn't allow me to do paragraphs, have tried in both Opera, Mozilla and Safari (at work). There is no option in my personal options to change the type of editor. Please advise

The image in my previous post is from Internet Explorer. The "Editor Type" section is only visible in IE (not in any other browser).

For instance if you are like me and use Mozilla Firefox (or any other browser) do the following. Close all open browsers. Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the "Personal Options" section indicated by the picture below. In Internet Explorer the "Editor Type" section will be visible. However, make sure you select "HTML Editor" and NOT "WYSIWYG Editor". Then simply press the "Update Profile" button at the bottom. You can now logout and close all open browsers. Reopen Safari, Firefox or whatever browser you wish to use and the carriage returns should now work.

organicsaber: if you still cannot get it to work post again and tell me which browser you use.

When you use the quick reply you'll need to use <p>, which is the standard HTML paragraph code, to add a new paragraph.  If you don't want to use this, click the "Reply" button instead, which will open the WYSIWYG editor; the editor will automatically put in paragraphs for you.

The BB code used here is non-standard and not very flexible.  *grumbles*  I'm not sure why HTML is required for posting but not allowed in signatures.
