New Problem

I found out how to download buildings and other things like that but now when I download it to the plugins folder but then it switches the entire folder to the going to put on CD area and I can't get it into my game. Help

Sorry, When ever I download buildings they will download. But when they are in a zipped folder, so please tell me how to get my downloads from "My Documents" into my game. So can someone please give me a tourital to get it from this site to my game.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but first you'll need a program like WinZip to open the files.  Then, most downloads will include a read-me file that tells which files to copy into your Plug-ins folder.  If there's no read-me, then just copy all SC4 and BAT files; you don't need to copy any of the text files or jpegs that come with downloads.

Anyways, I hope this is what you were wondering about.

1. Download the Lotfile you like to a zip-folder or the desktop.

2. Open with win-zip.

3. Files should be put into the *My Documents/Simcity4/Plugin* folder. There you can create a subfolder for each download (easier to organize and find the lots that you don't like anymore later)

4. Ready to play.
