Maxis Korea Life Building Functional LM

I spent about 3 hours messing around with the Korea Life Building DAT file that is avaliable for download at MAxis site, but for the life of me I could not get it to become a functional LM with jobs even though I have been able to do this with normal (non-DAT) buildings. It didn't even show up in the LM menu.

Is this not possible? Or am I doing something wrong? here is the LOT file in the attach.

Hmm... sounds like an interesting task. Sadly, this annoying HK BAT guy is keeping me busy with other buildings...

Seriously, hasn't SimGoober made some Maxis landmarks functional? I think there are some more on the STEX as well, like a Grand Central station as subway hub or something similar. Maybe you will find soemthing by digging into the files.

I've never tried something like that, but if I had to do it, I would prolly start by putting the DAT into my plugins folder and making a new LM desc with the plugin manager. Then, the usual process... If the building can be made to appear in the PM, it's nailed.

I think my problem was that I didn't want to make a new LOT so I just adjusted the M lot that it came with. That is prolly one of the problems right there.

I just dug a bit into the file, and it looked like it could be feasible to me at a first glance, although there may be some hidden 'traps'.. What exactly did you do, how did you proceed?
